Counter-Strike 2

People saying cs2 needs some adjustment to fix the feel of the game. Interp command and so on, I remember I used to mess with that so figures its now a thing again after changes - https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffe...cause_and_fix/?share_id=oo7QtQDOKSDGGgmwFq8DL

Hammered it today to get a premier ranking, 6534.

Thanks for the game @JoeBoi, deffo caught us at the end of a mammoth session so was half tilted
I enjoyed that game, thanks for the carry!

CS2 keeps crashing on my rig - 13700k 64gb ddr and 3070ti @ 1440p. Nothing to stressful. Hopefully something that gets sorted with a patch or reinstall.

I haven't tested the cl_interp changed yet but a friend has and has said it's made a massive difference!

We found that holding any sort of angle was almost impossible as your opponent could just swing the corner and you'd be dead before you even see them, meaning that pistol rounds were super T sided as just smashing into a site with the glock was easier than those crisp USP-S one taps you could get in CSGO. That and the MAC-10 was obscene, just sprint around like Call of Duty killing people

Got my rating in premier mode over the weekend, 6534. Seems rating is all over the place, but i'm happy with that as i'm never going to be any good at CS

You need to have a premier cs go account and an active rank in matchmaking then you should get an invite.

This is the one, need to have the game, a Prime account (if you bought the game back in the day you have this, if you only got it when it was F2P you need to buy prime on steam), and you need to have an active CSGO Skill Group.

If you haven't got a skill group/rank and have had one before you need to win a game and it should give you one, then when the next wave of invites go out you should get an invite, it appears when you open the game at the top of the main menu.

When you say “I” need to win a game or do I need to be on the winning team? I’ve had cs 1.6 and so on so I think im good there, need to have a few rounds later in that case, my keyboard binds are default, is there a binding app I can install, used to edit a .txt file back in the day for duck+jump :D 47years old now feel like a grandad playing CS again

I believe you need to be on the winning team yes :p

The way keybinds work is all changing in CS2, I believe now you can't bind more than one action to one key, as the main reason for this before was a jumpthrow of grenades, which is now a bit of a skill test in game, if you release the grenade at the right time you make a sound to indicate you've done it correctly :)

Oldies can still get by! :D Map knowledge and game sense will win you more games than aim is my opinion, at least that's what I tell myself :p

I've always relied on my aim, so when that goes I am screwed :D

Can I still do keybinds for buying at the start of the round? Need to sit and have a look

How would be on the same server with your friends in that case, if server selection is automatic? Out of interest

It's all match making these days.

So party up with friends (1,2,3 or 5 friends at a time, no 4 stacks in the new premier mode) and then hit "Go" and it finds you a game against similarly ranked opponents. At least its meant to be similarly ranked opponents
