Would you/anyone make any suggestions on it?

Oh and before u moan, YES I KNOW the engine is stuck at 66 tick. there is no advantage having it higher but it also doesnt do any harm. and i find most servers tick out at 67-69.

Heres part of my autoexec, have fun :)

There was an update yesterday:

News said:
Fixed ragdoll bug with cl_ragdoll_physics_enable 0 and cl_minmodels 1
Changed voice stealing of entity/channel pairs to only allow one overlapping delayed sound (improves CS gun sounds)
Fixed overlapping sounds causing a slight remaining echo on ak47
Fixed phantom clan tags appearing for players who didn’t set one

Is it a case of just experimenting with your own config to see what suits you? Is there a webby that lists the commands / configs out?

3 words of advice, remove mat_dxlevel "81" from your autoexec its the incorrect way to change dxlevel and can cause issues. Follow the instructions here :

http://www.cadred.org/Forums/Thread/113981/

Second -threads 4 doesnt work i dont think. Use this line to enable multicore rendering mat_queue_mode "2"

One more thing cl_interp "0.030" will give you 30ms Lerp ingame you want it to be 15.2ms as this seems to be the optimum at the moment change it to cl_interp "0.015";

technically you should set:-

cl_interp 0
cl_interp_ratio 1

to get the 15ms lerp, plus you have to set cl_updaterate 66 otherwise it adversly effects your interp.

EDIT:- if he has a poor connection or has problems with a 15ms lerp or wants a 33ms lerp he should set:-

cl_interp 0
cl_interp_ratio 2

optimum amount my ass, 0.030 is much better setting - then you dont get issues when the incoming packets drop bellow 66/second for whatever reason.

you might even want to put it up to 0.04, to give the game a good amount of data to work with at all times

I meant to say the trend at the moment is lerp set at 15.2ms for competitive play on team war servers. For public/casual play then yes use higher amount if needed.

I use cl_interp 0 & cl_interp_ratio 1 for matches and cl_interp 0 & cl_interp_ratio 2 for public - seems to work best as the more people on the server 28 man etc i get lag/ skipping players/ wonky hit boxes (wonky as in not where they should be)

on public 6v6 15ms lerp rocks.

After some experimenting I am only using a few settings which seem to be fair to good on Ukcs servers. Can't expect it to be perfect, especially on a 64 player server. :D

stuff about mouse settings

Just put "-noforcemaccel, -noforcemparms, -noforcempsd" in your launch options and it'll use the best mouse settings whatever your windows mouse settings are.

I don't think Windows 7 has any mouse acceleration once you turn off enhance pointer precision. Whenever I've tested for it, its seemed fine.
