COVID-19 (Coronavirus) discussion

As Boris has a farewell party at Chequers this weekend I doubt many here will be joining me in wishing him all the best and thanking him for getting the Chinese Virus vaccine into so many British arms, so quickly, with great foresight and scant regard to cost. (Whilst the EU argued, procrastinated, and brought hissy fit legal cases).

Thanks for the massive financial support you rubber stamped to get food on the tables of those, ill, unable to work, or with no savings, simply magnificent!

I thank him too, for getting us as far distanced from the EU as has been possible so far, and for the pretty good shape the British economy is in, all things considered. (Whilst that of the EU is in total free fall...)

And thanks too, for the fact we haven't put the majority of our energy supply needs into a Russian basket, unlike, err, some one could mention..

The silence here about how well all these "experienced" Asian countries have handled the Chinese Virus is deafening as they play last orders catch up.

Cheers Boris, enjoy the cake and drinks, they can't touch you for it this time.
