Cpu Upgrade

Plug both 6+2 pins in and you're good to go.
Your aerocool integrator 500w is actually a 450w power supply. Whilst not terrible...isn't the best either, but it'll do the job. The 1070 only uses about 160w and the cpu will use up to 120w, so it'll be safe

His PSU only has one 8 pin.

But no, wait, plot thickens, the picture he posted shows 2 x 8 (6+2) pins lol. Which PSU is it actually??

Can you tell me what psu would be good pls that i can get.
Many thanks

Nice GPU.

yeah that's what i saw too lol. hence i said what i said.
nonetheless, it is a daisy-chain, but with the 1070...shouldn't be too much of an issue as it doesn't draw too much power.

Absolutely. I've got the ordinary version, not the FTW, and it only pulls 130W undervolted to 0.95v and about 160W at stock as you said.

don't need to overspend. your current PSU is sufficient.

if you do want to get a new PSU then consider:

i know it's a "b-grade" but it is really stonking good value.
i've used a couple of these exact PSU upgrading my friends' computers - and I've also bought them b-grade too.

I only went with what the company told me they installed a few years back on my Invoice

Propably at most in primary, which is less critical for safety of PC components.
More critical for output quality secondary is no doubt with second tier maker caps.

I have registered my PSU with EVGA today and uploaded my invoice so I’m covered for 5 years.

Hi I'm back again,

Question Is will I be able to change the 1070 out and put the 2080 In with no problems to carry on playing MSFS200 please ?.
