Wow, someone really dropped a massive ball. I absolutely loved Crackdown 2, was massively hyped for 3 a year ago and obviously like all followed the delayed release. But I'd completely forgotten about it, my hype totally died and now it's being released under the radar. This was meant to be a huge exclusive full of incredible things for Xbox.

I'm shocked at the fall from grace.
 
I had seen people call it a terry crews simulator.

I thought they were joking up until I just watched the game play trailor.

Im still hyped for the game though, I loved 1 and 2. I won't be doing the online multiplayer just playing through campaign collecting orbs.
 
Not a great advert for Microsoft's Azure platform, is it? They've been throwing money at this as proof of concept for years, and the end result falls way short of what they wanted to achieve. I guess "the cloud" isn't all it was hyped up to be?

Should still be a fun game. But yeah... ouch.

Forza Motorsport 3 was hands down the best racing game ever made since Gran Turismo 3. All these arcade/sandbox racing series start to completely suck after the 3rd, with the 3rd being the best one! Strange pattern that.
 
I believe you can play it if you change your Windows location to New Zealand. :p

But you may as well wait til tomorrow.

Why wait if it's only 1 click?

I booted game up but campaign is not working right now? Only other mode is working.

Anyone else got this issue.?

edit:
Not found a game yet but the settings menu looks promising. Graphics settings go all the way up to extreme.

edit: got campaign to start updating, hopefully once it done this 17gb I can play.

Also thanks for tip about newzeland. It was just as easy as control panel then switch to newzealand.

I will let you guys know what it's like when it's done downloading. Windows store is so slow!! Sat at 30Mb/s when I have 90 on steam.

That was for the other mode I believe.

I can go coop and invite people, I don't have another friend online to 100% confirm. but looks like coop campaign is working.
 
By the way guys sorry to say but this game looks and plays like a POS.

Game is laggy and looks like 720p and loads of stutter.

I have tried vsync on and vsync off and locked 60/120/unlocked. All have big frame drops even when it says im getting 120fps. Feels like im playing 30fps.

The game is so out of focus looks really low resolution.

This is with gtx 1080 at 1080p. So im not short of graphics power.

Pretty much what I was expecting TBH. It's a mess; a game that is far from finished, but far enough along to warrant release over cancellation.

I do feel bad for anyone who coughs up the asking price. But I'm confident I'll get my £2 worth over the next 8 weeks :D
