Sometimes that kind of in house testing causes problems when our ninja technicians clock it higher than all our customers and a revolt starts
lol. I think its far better for people who bought it to share, except with review samples like the Dominator GT of course 
We did abuse it heavily for a few hours with no problems and we've sold literally hundreds and not had a single set back.

I have them running @ 1080 5,5,5,15 2.1v 2 1/2 passes on memtest.
I have tried @ 1110 5,6,6,18 2.3v and it fails memtest after about 10 mins.

#5 is the RAM for sure but the later tests could be chipset related!

8GB running a treat, slightly underclocked (due to my CPU overclock), but doing it at 1040MHz @ 2.0V no fuss

I suspect that's actually closer to 2.1vDimm as the ASUS P5E X38 may over-volt by 0.8v . . . . still a good result, 8GB of fast DDR2-1066 for £80!
i paid £80 for 4gb of the 4 single sticks of these last year. amazing how cheap they are now. hence the reason i upped to 8gb and am getting rid of the 4gb
How low can you go on the vDimm and still pass Memtest #5 at DDR2-1066MHz

No problems running 8GB at 1066Mhz 2.1V here on a Asus P5-K (Intel P35).
