**** CRAZIEST PRE-ORDER SPECIAL EVER! MSI GTX 670 POWER EDITION ONLY £199.99 Inc. VAT!!!! *****

13.8 Catalyst coming out this week too, with major Crossfire improvements:-

Back in April of this year, we launched the AMD Radeon™ HD 7990, which instantly took the graphics card performance crown - a position we hold to this day. Today (August 1), we will be releasing a new driver, Catalyst™ 13.8 BETA, which adds “frame pacing” support for multi-GPU configurations (like the HD 7990). Frame Pacing ensures that frames rendered across multiple GPUs in an AMD CrossFire™ configuration will be displayed at an even and regular pace. Attached you will find a presentation that includes a full update on the Catalyst 13.8 BETA and the HD 7990.

....Anyone know what the best stable driver will be for this new card?

Hi.... I've tried some of the latest drivers and had small problems with everything since 314.22 ... so currently running 314.22 once again (100% stable with these). Though others may have had different results depending on what games etc. they run. Always do a clean driver install and also run Driver Fusion in Safe Mode between installs, so I think I've given the latest Nvidia drivers a fair chance to prove themselves.

Main reason that I tried the later 320 drivers were for the "supposed" gains in Metro Last Light but running the benchmark that comes with the game showed very little difference between 314.22 and some of the later drivers. Certainly nothing to get excited about.

I have one of these msi 670 pe oc and I have been wondering should I get another for sli but now they at £ 200 wow.

But I was planning on getting the new msi gtx 780 lightning when it come out soon.

so any one know or think two msi 670 pe oc in sli would be better then a single msi 780 lightning?

The 780 isn't worth the price. I would get another msi 670...hell for the price of the 780 you could get 2 670's and go 3 way SLI:D

Yeah deffo could go 3way for same price.

But a lot new cards are now running 3gb upwards now i dont wont to buy another 670 if games in next 6months start taking advantage from more ram on them? Or is 2gb still good for year or two.

I see you have two msi 770 lightnings in sli any good?

My lightnings are amazing in SLI. frame rates are crazy fast. 2gb is fine for me. I wont upgrade again until the 800 series. I have no issues at all with any game because of 2gb. If I was playing at 1600p multi screen then that's another story. I only play at 1080p.

Erm not sure now to buy another msi 670 for sli or two msi 770 lightnings for same price as the msi 780 lightning will be or just 780 lightning.

Erm

As you already have one, getting a 2nd is a wise choice.

Do we think two of these be able to run BF4 max settings at 1920x1080? I'm still torn on a build i'm doing and Sli seems more stable the crossfire from a few posts I've read.

Was going to buy a gtx780 originally, also looked at dual 7950's.

How would two of these compare to the above?

Why wouldn't one of these cards be able to do that at 1080 ?
