**CRAZIEST SSD DEAL YET: 120GB SSD ONLY £43.99 Inc. VAT! (SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!)**

How odd .

I ordered two of these, and now looking at my order history, nothing is showing up..given the number of DOAs I may have had a lucky escape, but still..

There is a limit, £7.xx I think, but that's plenty for something small like a SSD.

I dont think there is a limit well there is they say be sensible with postage costs say like a £170 motherboard might cost £19 to get sent back as it need to be insured just incase it gets lost in transit.

got 2x 120 both work fine
and a 60gb for the laptop also works fine

I've had a 60gb for over two years without a single issue and my new 120gb appears to be fine. I think this DOA problem has been blown out of proportion. Gibbo said "RMA rate, no higher than any other drive, since Friday we've now sold close to 5000 of these 2E drives". It's always the way with the internet reviews and technical support, the vast majority of the time, the people who post are the people who have a problem with the product. How many people have posted on OCuk about issues with this drive and how many people have got one and had no problems...

I guess \rant is called for... bad user reviews are a pet peeve of mine.

*looks at what-ya-ma-call-it on shopping website.

"Oh it has a bad review, perhaps I should read it"

*rated as one star because delivery service... REVIEWER DIDN'T RATE THE FREAKIN' PRODUCT!!!

The policy must have changed in the last few months as it cost me £19 to return a £280 graphics card, I got offered £7.xx in compensation.

I brought motherboard used royal mail to return cost me somethink like
£15-£19 to send back using insured delivery and was refunded in full which i exspect was around 6 months ago.

This applies to faulty goods

Search thru this site its been talked about loads of times.

Finally got a chance to install this into the PC (OK, temporarily hook it up to the cables yanked out of the DVD drive). Recognised by BIOS & Windows, firmware updated using the Windows tool in a few seconds, benchmark run and it's all looking good.

Now to take the PC apart and give it a proper home and it's own cables.

I'm very pleased with mine, so glad to be rid of my WD 10k drive, it was so loud and this is so much quicker.

As I don't have a sata 600 board this really is perfect for me.

THanks ocuk!
