Criteria for MM access has changed.

....

On another note, I have wondered why there is not a rule that a photo of each item has to be provided with a hand written note along side the item with your user name and date written on it? That seems to work very well on another forum.

Just athought :)

Someone could have the item, take a picture and still not post it. Proof of ownership does not equate to proof of posting :(. I would however agree it does tighten security a little and at least proves ownership if nothing else which is no bad thing.

Bought and sold a few bits and sold some too also gave some stuff away, better to help a community like OCUK forums that line eBays coffers. The change is good imo, maybe it should be a compulsory 50% down and 50% on completion?

Can you make an MM for selling Mobile Phones only? I have a large stockpile I don't use and would let them go relatively cheaply on here.

20k posts or more? Give proof of ID to a Don? Maybe?

Yeah, it's proof of ownership, just an extra measure of security that means a wrong un will only be able to try and scam someone for a limited ammount of items rather than being able to offer the moon.

As it stands, say if an inactive member who has MM access were hacked, that hacker can offer anything for sale that he likes, there are zero limitations put upon the wrong un under this circumstance.

My only worry in the MM has been damaged goods. You have no concrete way of proving items were damaged before they arrive..never been stung by it but the fear is always there when you buy. Same for sending really, and people who claim it doesnt work.

The reason you can't sell mobiles is due to the fact they are so easily stolen. Although if you're able to provide proof of purchase, I think it should be allowed.
