Crysis 2 was a better shooter, but the 1st game looked way more attractive, like FAR CRY.....I thought Bulletstorm looked great too.

Crysis2 was basically missing things we accepted as normal in Crysis like the level of environment destruction and scale.
I think if Crysis3 can address those areas it will be much better for it.

yea crysis is semi openworld, but the 2nd is far more linear, it's more urban claustrophobic.
unfortunately the 3rd game will be the same, after all, you're still in NY under a huge glass Dome, but this 3rd game looks far more like you're ``Stalking`` your prey in silent mode, you are more like ``Predator``
this makes the 3rd game far more exciting, with 5 new Alien weapons/ Psycho back, it'll be flipping brilliant with that bow and arrow.... i hope !!!
mind you, you'll still get caught out in the open, outflanked and shot up to hell, because that's the way it goes if you make a mistake and you cant reach cover in the next 3 seconds, before the bloody cloak comes off !!!!!!! it'll be ``look there's Prophet....kill him kill him

Wow that looks exactly the same as Crysis 2. I would have thought that they might have improved the overall textures to make it look more realistic and decayed, doesn't look like it.

it looks pretty decayed to me, nature is reclaining the city for itself..NY would be totally gone in a thousand years time..... all buried in undergrowth/ covered in trees and crumbled away, no bridges/ no skyscrapers... nothing, that's all bed rock now, it all collapsed and crumbled away over 500 years ago.
it will be very interesting to see NY after 20 years total neglect, i hope they've done it accurately, those skyscapers/ roads etc would all be covered in IVY/ weeds/ plants.... concrete cracking up etc, nature would take over so quickly

no nanosuit for him, he's a renegade resistance leader now, it looks like only Alcatraz has a suit
Meant to be 20 or so years after Crysis 2 so he looks older.
Thats Prophet, still no real knowing if hes actually dead or not considering how crysis 2 ended.

brickwork.....stone....roads....sidewalks, all lacked texture and realism.
but worst of all is that it's a poor shooter compared to Borderlands 2, it's too slow and clunky, he's not agile enough, he's very heavy footed, this really shocked me because i originally thought Crysis 2 was a good game, i was about to download Warhead.
i played Crysis 2 for an hour and that's it, i went straight back to Borderlands 2 and said ``thank God i'm back here``.
