Wtf is anyone else having problems with messed up overclocks with these drivers? :mad:

Either way I just tested the Crysis beta with these and noticed a big improvement. I'll keep these on and disable my overclocking for now till Rivatuner guys sort it.

Overclocks got reset by these in rivatuner and wont let me set them back. Used NV control panel to set them and theyre now fine

Overclocking is fine here Tom, on all my cards.

fps are down again in source engined games, not by much though. However recent demo's like cod4, ut3 and crysis mp have gone up in fps. Crysis by a massive amount.

Keepers so far.

On my 8800gtx machine and 7600gt machine yes, I'm on vista x64. The fx5600 is on xp x64

With these drivers and rivatuner I am not able to change Core or Memory clock on the Performance 3D tab, I can only change the 2D :mad:

i lost the ability to overclock using the first link too
I assume its to do with the driver not being signed?

Lost 13 fps in source games but a gain in cyrsis and ut3

Unwinder aint a time traveler, he cant make RT 100% futureproof which drivers that come out later esp if Nvidia mess with them.

I bet he will make a new build for Monday thats inc support for these newest Beta's.

I can confirm crysis MP beta is a hell of a lot smoother with these, heres hoping we get an optimised demo tomrrow

UT3 appears to be improved too. There's a profile for the demo, so you can set AA without any workaround trickery.

Well these drivers are coming off, that old CP is *****, i much prefer the new one, i can't fathom this crap out seen as ive never used the old one before.

Well ive got the old one, or some other CP which ive never seen before, when i right click me desktop, i dont get what i used to get before for the new CP, i just get my monitor name in the Nvidia Display, and when i select that, some weird panel opened which looked like the old one, but ive found the new one now, if i click the Nv icon in the tray, then select Performance and Quality settings, then AA settings, the new one opens :confused:

Ive never seen that one before, always been able to select the new one.

Odd still got the new CP here.

These drivers are awesome I have noted down multiple game increased and they have improved my 3DMark scores a lot (check sig

Yeah i did find the new CP eventually.

Seem good drivers these, 06 went up to 9,422, about 300 point increase, gona test some games now.

Episode 2 ran great, seemed smoother, and with these i dont have to keep going into the gfx options and selecting very high for the detail setting before i played, like i did with the old drivers.

However, i tried Stalker, and that was a no go, i thought id killed my card, got big green flashing blocks all over the screen, i couldn't move, so quit back to menu, text was all ******, so quit, and while disconnecting, it hung and BSOD'd, then windows restarted, and i got the old grey box saying me GTS was responsible for the error, the device failed, dont send send report one.

EDIT: Right, think ive found the problem, been trying otehr games, and everything else runs great, so decided to see if it was my AA being on in the Nv CP affecting Stalker, so i switched it off and fire it up, ran perfect, so i ALT+TABBED back to desktop and out the AA back on in the CP, went back to Stalker, and it looked like i was halucinating, the desktop adn the game were flashing between each other git fast, my hands were white, the sky was all purpley, and the rest was like a luminous green, then before i could get back to desktop to knock it back off it BSOD'd again.

so looks like its the Nv CP AA setting thats doing it, so looks like i'll have to knock it off for that, seems strange as i know AA doesnt affect Stalker, but ive always had it set on in the CP for other games, and Stalkers ran fine, even though it doesn't do AA, but now looks like i'll have to knock it off in there first as its major conflicting.

Fire it up again and see if it happens again if it does it's clearly a driver error. I could just be on of those one off errors everyone get's them now and then.

These drivers officially fail, on reboot I discovered my overclocking had gone like everyone else. My fps in the last two nfs is very poor and has horrible lag spikes, same for css and tf2. Am also getting higher fps in bioshock but more stuttering. :mad:
