CRYSIS DEMO DRIVERS HERE - Nvidia 169.01

Seem good for me... FPS in Crysis went up by almost double - in one place I went from 5fps with previous drivers (latest WHQL) to 21fps with these (Crysis maxed out hammers my PC)

FPS seems to be increased in almost every game, in some cases by quite a margin and my OC still works fine.

Of interest... there seems to be a ton of SLI fixes and updates, even specific flags for some fairly obscure games.

installed fine other than for some reason windows vista x64 seems to think the vista x64 drivers are unsighned, and my overclock gets reset after every new driver install, just fired up rivatuner and set it back to my overclock and it is fine.

I'm liking these. Gave me a nice boost in 3D Mark 06.

finally feeling the hurt now of the x1950pro agp, its running crysis demo better than my x1900xt machine, but that x1900xt is in vista64, x1950pro is in xp and using same settings as my x1900xt machine, the x1950pro agp machine runs crysis better. only drawback is i get few graphical glitches, driver related i bet since x1950pro can't go higher than driver version 7.7 for agp machines.

ati really need to sort thier drivers out for this game. all you jammy nvidia guys with decent drivers for the games just adding insult to injury

I just installed these drivers and just after the part where it asks you are you sure you want to install these drivers from a unsigned source (im on vista 64bit) where the screen goes off and back on usually, my screen never came back on!

I left it for 5 minutes as it didn't appear to have crashed the numlock key still worked and there was still hard drive activity, It then started bleeping aswell about 1 bleep every 10 seconds which i've never heard of before.
I then reset it choose to load windows normally and it booted up fine, I went into 3dmark to check to see if had updated the driver version and it had, very strange!

About to test it now see what it scores with these drivers

Anyone else get these problems when they installed these drivers??

Somethings got better anyway 3dmark went up from 10009 to 10244 now time to test if theres a improvement in games

Just grab the test build of RT 2.06 thats in this thread ( I think) and your overclocking oince again works, but on newest driver you cant have a diff 2D core and 3D core.

The drivers are really lacking for 4:3 support and HZ for CRT, suppose they got thrown out for Crysis prim.

Are you having problems with the newest drivers and your CRT?. I've been using 163.69's and everything except my system seems fine for Crysis.

The new drivers have a MAX HZ of 75 for my desktop RES and nothing I do can change it even 3rd party APP's, I need 100HZ.

Also they dont allow seperate 2D Core and 3D Core speeds.

The game crashes if I enter the Video menu more so that older drivers (I never seen white trees glitch like some though).

I did get game running better now at 1600x1200 @ 85HZ all High no AA using the Crysis Shortcut in the 64bit folder and running the game that way.

WOW NICE DRIVERS....

Gave me another 500 brownie points in 3D Mark 06 enabling me to break the 14K barrier @ 14156

Gave me another 3/5FPS in crysis as well....its all good! :cool:

Nice drivers!!

Gave me a 5% increase in 3d 05 and near 10% in 06....cant complain about that eh?

edit: just ram cod4 and crysis and all i can say is WOW!!! What a difference!! Both games run so much better and smoother at same setting as previous

Highly recomend these drivers!!!
