Crysis experimentings

I'm going to try my darned hardest to get this finished for you guys, hopefully tomorrow.

By chance does anyone know which level in the levels folder is the one for 'relic' (the third mission)? I've looked, but I can't find it.

EDIT: never mind, found out that it's 'rescue'

Wow, I can't remember noticing the detail in Rygel's that you have there. I dropped it because it seemed to be reducing performance for no visible gain. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Nice compilation of mod comparisons there Centurion.

Didn't really know where to put this; found some scrap footage of a Crysis mod, so knocked this together with an awesome Jeff Beck tune. :p

sorry to hijack guys, but when you use a console command, how do you get it to stick? or can you at all?
Because i usually toggle crouch on, but it doesn't keep the setting, so i have to do it again when i load it up

cheers.:)

Also, natural mod, for me, makes it look far too grainy at night. There isa console command to turn off the low level light though, but i have to do that everytime as well..

and in answer to an earlier post.- yes they work fine in steam, but the config files will obviously be in a different place.

Autoexec.cfg?

I'm very much enjoying real lifesis. Runs almost as well as vanilla but looks great. Had to get rid of the ridiculous FOV blur, but after that it's great.

I love the FoV effect tbh. I think that it can make for some great screenshots too.

stupid question but any of these work on warhead?

I'm honestly not sure mate, I think that they do as crysis and warhead were pretty much the same game in terms of engine etc, but warhead just has some tweaks to optimise it :)
