Crysis Multiplayer Beta now on Fileplanet

fixed it.. got a .dll from the net and replaced it.. seemed to have workedo okay :P

game's unbeliveable.. the graphics... insane :) tried running it on "as high as it can go" (very high has been disabled) and it looks stunning.. runs like a dog on my system tho

If you already have a key then you can find Build 2 of the Crysis demo on the Bittorrent network.
 
ah sod it! I promised myself there was no way I was going to give FP my money but now the demo's delayed and the F:FoW beta I caved for a 1 month sub :(

I know it's naff all money but it irks me.

Anyways downloading both now.

One thing though if the beta runs for more than a month and you cancel your FP sub, does that mean your key stops working? I guess it makes it harder to get hold of any updated clients as well?
 
I got mine downloaded and installed this morning.

Play with everything on high, and no AA. Running ok, average about 40 FPS but does drop at points. Any way of making this run abit better ?

On file planet cant you just pay for a subscription for 1 month, then not have to keep on paying?

If so I might get a 1 month today and watch like a hawk for those crysis beta keys.

They auto renew, so if you pay for a month sub, you will have to cancel it before your month is up.
But it's been said on the beta forums that if you cancel your account before the beta ends, your key will still be valid.

Yep, auto renew and the accounts page doesn't even mention when it updates... sneaky of them. The beta is choppy as hell for me on an oc'ed 3800+/x1950xt.
 
It seems quite playable on my housemate's C2D e4550/2GIG/7800GTX combo. A little choppy even on minimum settings...but on the other hand, looks good on those settings :)
 
I have just tryed to fire up the MP beta demo and i got AVG popping up saying that its a virus and an error saying that i dont have permissions?? :confused:


Anyone else had the same problem??

Reinstall maybe??
