Opened my first op phoenix case and this popped out

Battled scarred but hey I'm not fussy

Not much of an awper, and due to the current market price it has gone straight up for sale (for £55).

Sold it for £48.

The network improvements appear to have made no difference at all (well I can't tell any difference in reg etc).

I opened about 12 of those #3 cases when they came out and the best thing I got was a Deagle Heirloom worth about £1.70. The rest were 10p Dualy panther camos.

Meh I had the stat m4 one, sold it for £70

Not played this for a while but recently re-downloaded it. What's the deal with all these items being sold? Do you get random drops like in TF2 which you can then put up for sale on the Steam market?

Yes, at the end of each Competitive game you can get a random item.
Not sure how it works for casual/public, I haven't played

Or you can combine a load of the same type to get a better type worth more (or something)

I have G3SG1 | Desert Storm.

Not really looking for anything in particular but a skin for either m4 / ak / awp would be nice. Anything else is worth a shout

At the end of any game, casual or competitive you can get either a weapon skin or a case drop. Some things like knife skins can only be obtained through opening cases or buying on market and are pretty rare. Opening cases works like in TF2, where you need to purchase a key and get a random weapon skin from listed possible items in the case.

You seem to get about 4 drops a week. They don't do anything other than make your weapons look pretty

TBf theres a lot of 'ingame' currency flowing in the economy. IE people sell weapons, to buy new weapons with the cash they just got. I havent spent a single penny and have skins for all my weapons due to just selling items for a few quid here and there at the right times.

Didnt work for me on first attempt, I'll investigate further. Not sure it can help my game anyway, just lost a game with just 1 round to us

I am trying to record a demo off CS:GO. I first tried afterburner and then FRAPS, and the recording is quite dark. The guns are always black in darkish areas, even if I have a coloured skin.

I changed cs:go brightness up (highest possible) and it made no effect.

Anyone has any ideas/commands I can use?

If you have a compatible NVidia card, shadow play works pretty well. Although with you mentioning afterburner I guess you might not have one...

The only other one I've heard of is Dxtory, but I've never used it since shadowplay or fraps always seemed to work.
