CS:GO Discussion

Seems like clever dlc to me, entirely optional. Helps create more content for the game with new maps also, great idea.

Completed 2 more missions expecting something amazing now, 2p skins and I dont like them either. I have Damascus steel SG, quite happy with that so winning others is pointless

Except Im going to put them on a bet for NCG vs Vexx

Its now possible to turn off ambient sounds on maps ? Its a cheat svar but comp does not reset the game settings on a new game hence it carries over apparently

Of course it is clever dlc and great fun. JGSR just sounds a bit butt hurt to be frank with that skins comment. CSGO is all about aim, game and brain, hence why it is head and shoulders the best online multiplayer competetive FPS. Maybe need to go back to the sloppy tick rates of BF4 servers.

Seriously JG though you do love CSGO do you not?

We need a fuller OcUK community with this game, it so deserves it.

Are those settings with the sound any good if using onboard laptop speakers SS?

Butthurt...how? I got £135 free from a AWP Dragon Lore and have been spending it on shiny things for mates and me. I was joking when I said it was about skins first /facepalm

Yeah, rly enjoying the game but I am so so much better at BF games than this being mainly a vehicle ho.

Never understood the fuss over CSGO personally, it's ok. Probably the best twitch shooter out there but I'll always prefer battlefield for the scale and depth of it.

Ah N1. I took you seriously, well kind of that's why I asked if you like the game; I could not believe you of all people would not be loving the purity of the game. :)
I was also kind of right in my sensing you were not walking straight into it and owning like BF.

Practise in this game has such great pay offs. Not preaching to you JG, though get that training aim CSGO map and watch maybe Frieberg's video on quick aiming.

See how far you are off a pro's standard.

I also love the fact that when I die, it is 99% of the time because I was outsmarted, out gunned, out A-D-A-D'd :p e.t.c.

BF4 is like a poor COD for me now, CSGO is the future and the future is now.

Jelly of that Dragon skin you had b.t.w. so much so I kept thinking about it the last few games. :D Back to what really matters about CSGO and the skins. :D

Add me on Steam to hook up for a round or two anyone. Steam I.D. :- FroggyHoof

Will try that out cheers :D

My ears nearly died when I got that skin in a casual match, bear in mind I had already muted 60% of them. I think some may have been having heart attacks, I had no idea at the time, thought ohh that's quite pretty, wonder if it's worth a couple of quid. Now I have many pretty guns I am bad with rather that one very pretty gun I am also bad with.

Will do, you better be ready to do some carrying. Remember first and foremost I am a pilot in games. This whole running around getting my feet all dirty is tiring work.

U cant compare csgo with bf... Bf is an overcomplicated laggy mess... Maybe cet will fix it but the skill level of bf is not even close to csgo also there is zero sense of achievement in bf... However pulling off a 3v1 4v1 in csgo brings back the same insane feelings as did the quake games. The only problem nowadays is my reactions suck now being over 30... So when facing globals and smfc ranks can suck sometimes.....

Has anyone else betted stickers? - I took some risks.

I have a problem though, I am going to be attending that event in Germany. - So the next stages I think I will find it very difficult to bet on, unless I take my laptop with me and do it in the hotel room. :D

Morning guys!

so last night i was playing a casual, some guy added me and said my sensitivity was too hight, he explained that it needs to be fairly low for control etc, anyways i read into it and it seems he is right, my sensitivity was extremelly high compared to others.

Having lowered it dramatically i seem to be getting a lot more kills, the only problem im finding is, when i enter B on Dust 2 for example, i can hold my cursor to the wall easily and looking around to car i have good precision but if i need to snap to the other side i find myself lifting the mouse.

If i was to increase the DPI on my mouse slightly would that help? currently on 540 and sensitivity is on 2 ingame i think.

Any help is welcome, also feel free to add me on steam - Proxeum, would be great to learn from you guys.

You need a biggggg mouse pad for low sensitivity to avoid lifting mouse. High sensitivity you mainly use your wrist. Low sensitivity you need to get used to using your arm to sweep across.

Good point, ill try sweeping my arm across, i have the OCuK branded mouse mat, its pretty big, would i need a bigger one?

Always put your DPI to maximum. Once set at maximum, then adjust your sensitivity. Use what sensitivity works best for you. Low sens makes it easier to be more precise but slow to react, while high sens makes it harder to be precise but much faster to react. I personally play with quite high sens because I like the minimum hand movement/ quick reaction, plus I'm used to the speed and am precise with it anyway....best of both worlds. Each to their own. Play Deathmatch and experiment is my advice.

I've only got 1, haven't bet it yet, but gonna buy a load of capsules later and see what I get and have a go.

What do you get if your team wins?

Don't let my aged bones hear that, i have convinced myself I am a contender. :D

31 mate and a stoner. Reaction times can be measured in seconds rather than ms

Yep 44 and still abusing. :D

Not bought any of these out yet and was kind of willing myself not too. Though 5UB has sown the seeds of curiosity and I was watching some Ballsy Betting tips for the lounge afterall yesterday anyway. Hmm. :)

I've been playing this a little recently, what's everyone's experience with matchmaking? I admit I'm not the best in the world - played CSS heavily when I was a teenager but not much since - and I was attacked by my team both literally and verbally over chat and voice for being a noob. Just seemed a shame that the game attracts awful people.

I think thats the case with most online games these days, when i started WoW 7 years back it was very rare this kind of behaviour.

Just mute and report them :)

Mute report. Add people from here/ the ocuk cs go group and try and play with as big a lobby as you can to avoid this.
