I use Turtlebeach PX22, not the best but was after something quick and didn't want to wait for delivery so bought them from the purple shirt place, do the job nicely but sure there are better alternatives out there.

You really do need a mic in this game for quick calls

Going to look at TurtleBeach kit.

*Edit. And phillips x1. Best balance between budget and cost, though realistically I really don't think I would like to pay much over £100; ideally, something good around £50-£60.

*Re-edit. Loving the price of the Turtlebeach kit.

I use Roccat Kave XTD. Phenomenal headset! Pricier but more durable and noticeably lighter than the previous version.

Had the original Kave 5.1 before the XTD.

No intention of using anything else as I'm very happy with the quality of Roccat stuff!
 
So I fired this up for the first time since release and didn't even recognise it.

Having played a lot of 1.6 and source and now having super specs to help me finally correct my poor vision I though I would be able to jump straight in and be away with it, how wrong I was.

I am making progress but its slow, I really should have expected it having not played fps never mind any type of twitch shooter for a good while. I haven't really looked through the menu yet so have just been jumping into random unranked matches but if there is a server browser and a server the ocuk lot play on regularly Id love to have a few games with a group more mature than the random idiots I seem to be encountering online at the moment.

Having finally figured out what all these boxes and unlocks are actually for i still have no idea how you actually get the keys to open them other than buying them, I have unlocked a couple but im not getting sucked into all that type of carry on again. fifa got me last time!
 
Been hammering CS recently,300 hours total now, and yesterday being a bit tipsy I added £10 to my steam wallet and purchased keys for the cases I had. Something I vowed never to do.
Well in a row I got Galil Blue titanium, Stat AK47 Blue and then.....M9 Bayonet :)

couldnt believe my luck, now I just have to refrain from believing I should add more funds as I doubt that'll happen again anytime soon.
 
Having gun skins is a bit meh for me, don't really see the need to pay for cosmetics on a game, they dont fire any different and I prefer the OEM look of the guns anyway, but just another way of making extra money from us, I could see CSGO becoming free, and valve making money from just gun skins alone.

my thoughts also, ive god knows haw many boxes and have not bought a key for any of them, i did swap a box for a gun once not that i was to fussed but someone wanted this particular box

I would sell that knife mate, and probably the stattrak too. Nice one :)
