CS:GO Discussion

In your opinion, yes. :)

If it aint broke, don't fix it?

I'm not saying the quality is bad (I wouldn't know) but the quantity....

I don't even read that much for my university course, let alone cs:go :p

Oh, there is a lot to be fixed. One way smokes, jumps (jump scout), CZ, Nuke/Overpass being CT sided as hell, server issues, MM issues, some invisible walls/glitches in overpass, overpass just needs more work in general, amongst the hundreds of other problems cs:go has.

What are you doing? A media studies degree? :p

But if you fixed all of those it wouldn't be CSGO!!

:p

I have not played an online game at all in about a month or so because I rekindled my love for old single player FPS games. Can't say I have missed it to be honest. Bought a PS4 yesterday and intend to do some gaming on that for a while too.

I think in general, the PC community is getting worse (present company excluded) and so are the games. I have to say, having spent an evening messing about with it, the PS4 is a great bit of kit. I never thought I would have a console as my primary gaming platform, never in a million years.

But, CSGO is pretty much one of the only multiplayer games left that I will be using my PC for. Hoping that UT2014 will drop an awesome bomb though, but we will have to wait and see :)

Already decided I am going to buy a GTX980m powered lappy and sell off my PC bits though. My current rig is OTT for CSGO, plus I have a desk as big as a house which I really dont need! lol :p

I went for the Logitech G400s, since it's supposed to be the same as shame as an MX518 but better. Need to send the zowie back when it arrives!

Yes, it is the same form factor, just with a better optical sensor. Great mouse really, but Logitech build quality has fallen through the floor in recent years, unfortunately :(

I have used the same form factor for years, but the final straw was when I bought a G400 and it only lasted 6 months before I got the dreaded cable break.

Decided there and then I wouldn't buy another, because the 518 I had replaced also only lasted a year or so, whereas previous ones had lasted years. :(

Cracking mouse mate, but dont be surprised if you get cable break a lot sooner than older Logitechs.

My MX518 lasted over 10 years! Shame to hear that quality has gone down.

Anyone use a mouse bungee? Supposed to make a world of difference, not having the cable dragging on desk with movement, or catching on the back of the desk.

I recently got a Roccat Kone XTD. Couldn't recommend it enough. However, this best thing I can recommend is a soft gaming mat. The one I'm using is a Roccat Taito and it's made my game 10x better.

I finally came across my first obvious hacker in match-making just now. They were on my team, CT on D2, just rushed mid every round and got headshots for every kill, single shot with P250. Telling the team where he could see Terrorists going. Team vote-kicked him after the fourth round, but the people on the opposing team were still complaining about it. They were lucky they came across people who didn't want an easy win otherwise they would've lost very badly, can't please some people

Glad to hear it. Some teams would just ride the wave

Yes I do, I got a free Zowie one with my FK1 which I kept when I sold the mouse on. I am glad I kept it, I mean it was pretty rare my cable would catch enough to put me off; though now it never happens, with virtually no cable drag. It also stops me using one of the wifes plants to loop the cable over, to try keep it in a frictionless place. It already has one gouge out of its big leafs from when I was trying to get to grips with new mice, (The new DA style and the FK1, before I went back to the good old style DA.) in moments of rage mid battle in CSGO, I would raise the mouse aloft and proceed to try and drive it through the mousepad. I was lucky they were damage free when selling on.

I would not be without a mouse bungee now.

I use a SteelSeries Heavy pad b.t.w.

Mine as well, no one reads forum dissertations

Roccat Kone..For those that want a colourful mouse, not a good mouse. Jittery ass sensor """Pro-Aim Laser Sensor R3 with up to 8200dpi". Not good enough I need 1600000dpi
