CS:GO Discussion

I got someone whose bet $41 on flipside to beat Navi in bo3. Anyone got a better read on euro teams who can say because Im thinking really navi should have that fairly easily despite a new member

I usually bet USA teams as Im more familar. Recently, Incursion games, B2A, Fenix were good bets because they are not well known but all strong long term players. I dont know euro players myself, anyone favouring Flipside?

BAG 97 POINTS LOSE 16 - 13 RELEGATED :D

having no luck with my public friends atm, last game was a mix vs a team of 5...... I nearly won it :D

people don't like using mic's except to insult eachother :D

Well I started Caseageddon last night.

Opened £50 worth of cases and got 1 pink scar 20 Flat line which I already have and a lot of trash.

My mate opened £50 of cases and halfway through got a FN Stat Trak Fade M9 Bayonet...... Happy for him yet utterly pig sick lol I swore SO much, especially considering he was streaming it so I got to witness it first hand. So so mad i could have uninstalled steam lol

I said to him at the start of the operation when we do the unboxing he will get a knife and i wont and I said it again last night and sure enough....

HoHum time to cry into my pillow

I have considered selling up all my inventory though for the last few weeks and trying my hand at trading to see if i can trade up to a decent knife as i have about £100 in skins

Probably for wrong time for me to mention I opened 50 Choma cases, got a FN Flip Knife Doppler then a few weeks later opened another 50 and for a FN Karambit Doppler :D

Wanting to get back in to hearthstone though so sold the knife for money to withdraw from steam wallet to get a load of booster packs

how did you get 100 chroma cases? I have only had 1 case drop since they where added to the game! lol

selling my inventory was so satisfying and believe it or not the default gun skins don't imper my playing ability at all.

got just over £1000 for all my stuff (£970 in real cash money and around £60 steam wallet) which
A, pleased the Wife as i bought her a new washing machine.
B, Pleased me as i bought a new set of IEMS.
C, payed off the remainder of my credit card.
D, Left me enough steam wallet for the sales.

result on every count id say. so factor in that i opened around 70 cases its not a bad run

How much did you invest in the first place though?

Trading and csgolounge is one of the most unpleasant and least fun experiences I can think of, csgolounge especially is an absolute joke.

70 cases worth (so between key sellers and some keys in game around £100)

csgolounge is where i got most of my trades tbh.

in 70 cases i unboxed 2 knives.

120k Flip Fade ST (which i traded to a CH rubbish knife so in the end of that little run of bad trades i got as low as a vanilla karambit)
180k M9 Fade

Yeah csgo lounge absolutley full of morons and scammers, you have to be lucky to be offered a like for like trade let alone make any profit on a trade.

Im ashamed to say ive spent more than what Joel invested and I certainley won't be coming out of it with a profit! Think the only way you will ever make any profit is if you have been extremley lucky and unboxed a knife early on.

I'm now banning myself from buying anything else or opening cases.
It is way to addictive for me (not sure why) so gonna be tough as stupid as that sounds!

I opened two cases and got utter crap from them and I only did this because I was bored lol. I will not be opening anymore and just from drops and missions since I have owned the game I have made £50 ish.

cant grumble as no cost to me, shame I cannot take the money from steam wallet through.

money will sit there till a new operation comes out or a game on steam sale that I want so I guess its handy really. shame dying light is still £39.99!

my steam wallet money was reserved for GTAV at £40 but nuuvem at £19 was too hard to pass up.

you can get dying light for under £15 on kinguin.

THe only game i ever made money on was Entropia Universe and at one point i was one of the 4 main Ore/Mineral Traders in that game with a bank roll of £5000 of guildies money plus £300 of my own. If i was a dubious character i could have ran but i am not and made money for guildies via dividends and myself and cashed out £1000 of my own money to buy my current PC a fair few years ago.

I just want a knife i'm not bothered about the profit :(

you should just buy one with the keys. so many people selling them cheap at the moment

I have an "ESL One Katowice 2015 Cobblestone Souvenir Package" which dropped when I streamed one of the games.

Should I put it on the marketplace now or wait a while? I don't follow the trading/market value of these things and don't know whether I should list it now or wait a bit.

Thoughts appreciated :)
