Played for the first time in ages last night, after the first round of me going 0-13 i put the game face on and had a comeback of 23-21.

Was planning to but I think all the Sunday seats are booked, which is the only day I am available. I definitely plan on going to the London Dreamhack event when they announce the venue though!
They are already there. Played 4 games this week won 2 drawn 1 and lost 1 and ive checked the steam accounts each game for both teams and there have been 13 smurfs in 4 games.
They need something to curb all the smurfs, like x hours playing casual/arms race etc before allowing folks to play comp

While i do agree with you I do have a 2nd account myself though (thanks to the recent sale) but i wouldnt really call myself a smurf as my main is only mg1 so i'm not exactly great. From my point of view i needed a account lower so I could play with friends that aren't at that level. Not sure how you could get around this without having a 2nd account.
It definately is a problem though when you have dmg and above playing anywhere below nova master level.
I had my 1st game against mge's the other day and think there is a big jump in skill level even to that from mg1.
Think im waffling sorry can't even remember my point anymore lol

Smurfing is a problem in game it takes the fun out of it imo
But when you have players like swag . steal ect all having multi account's and playing smurffs on streams with loads of people watching, people think its a cool thing to do ect

On the next sale I'll buy another copy to make a smurf for playing with lower tiers too but the biggest problems is MGE DMG etc Smurfing low nova's

Had a few ropey games recently, including playing against hackers. I was giving this guy the benefit of the doubt for a few rounds as he had 250+hrs plus on his account and everyone was screaming HAAAX. my mate reviewed the demo and made this little vid.

scout hs through mid door long after match start is a hack I'd definetly think so.
I read ow doesnt kick in till 11 reports anyway, not sure if thats still the case as people were just cycling through accounts doing 2 games only
Also you can look up account age on vacstat.us.
Had a few bans from my game history, cant remember if I reported them or not, it should tell you if you were right I think. Since its basically part of the mm circus, guessing whose legit
Also checked my old esea games from the new year when I had a trial code, 3 hackers banned there also. In theory you can put esea players on a suspect list, its reviewed weekly by an admin, not sure how well that works
NIP on 31% Maybe the smart bet was to bet them vs VP but I think they could still do it. Probably not the case but they might have lost to NV earlier in order to gauge their tactics prior to the final

They have their own forums with tips. So a thing this year is to get your hours up, if they show 250 hours but 70 hours in last two weeks, then its a new ac.

Finally started leveling up again, went from gold nova 3 to a silver 3 and we were rarely winning. Back at silver elite now... I don't know if they have fixed match making or something but we have been getting really good and close matches this last week.
It's been good and I have been on fire with the AWP recently, almost like I can't miss. I even managed a 1 on 4 retake last night with that beastly weapon. Good times.
