CS:GO Discussion

While solo Q'ing I've seen so many LE's in the last week who barely know basic fundamentals. Anyways the ranking distribution will adjust soon enough anyways. Guessing all those salty VAC'd hackers have probably found a new hack by now anyways.

*edit*

Even if smurfing negatively effects a lot of players, it isn't against any rules though, right?

Damn silvers get all the luck! :p

Talking of luck after the market reset yesterday I managed to sell my ST Ft cyrex for £79.99 after only buying it the day before for £55 lol easy £15 profit there after steam tax!

Sold my rust flip for a profit aswell although I do already miss it so will keep my eye out for another when it goes cheap.

Hoping virgin media fix the internet in my area today so i can actually play the game again its been rubbish for about a week now and they finally acknowledged a problem after being told to just reset my modem about 100 times.
Which explains all my recent disconnect problems that i thought was to do with the patch and the hit reg feeling totally off.

It's perfectly acceptable; you can have as many Steam accounts as you like. It just means that people like me who enjoy the game but aren't particularly good at it can often have a miserable time playing. :(

It's great to find a server without hackers, ragers, griefers and in which people communicate properly. It's not so great when it turns our you're facing a couple of people who are in actuality, vastly more experienced and ranked much higher.

Two things!

I've been bouncing around LE/LEM for a while now (pre ban-waves), haven't played too much recently but yer. Queued a few games tonight as LEM and the skill level over all of people is drastically lower. I couldn't believe the over all skill level of some people, literally lower than many AK's I've seen.

I guess the ranks really did get shifted massively due to the ban-waves.

secondly a tail of two hackers!

Just had a game now and ow my. The other team (4 players playing together and 1 random) had an obvious spin hacker boosting them to whatever rank. the usual HS's while looking at the floor and etc.

3rd round in and a guy on my team obviously turns his hacks on, goes and kills them all in a few seconds, and gets VAC banned by the end of the 5th round. 9 Hour account, first time I've seen someone get VAC'd while playing.

So there we are 4v5 Vs. another hacker and the friends he is boosting.

Sad sad sad. Even with all the bans recently, there are still so many around.

Yep you're absolutely right, the ranking has been completely messed up at the minute.

I was LEM before the change and I've only played a few games since on MM but there is some people who previously would have struggled in DMG.

At the moment it's still all mixed up so it's pure luck if you end up on a team with people who were LEM before the changes or newly promoted LEMs who really are MGE/DMG level.

It will all balance out eventually I suppose.

Yer it will re-balance soon enough (when all the hackers that got banned find a new hack to use).

A few people on my friends list that were bouncing between DMG-AK are now LEM and two are even supreme :O

Had a check with vac ban checker off reddit and has a few from casual show up, does not go back far enough to where I have more suspect players. Not sure how long I can play currently as have 3 day old baby so will not likely see you on.

VP at 30% another team that just takes it easy till they got no choice

seems this is so relevant probably at every rank and especially with smg and pistol work ok when jumping. I hope they take out all the glitchy stuff eventually

5hat over watch WaOwl did was one of the same wall hackers I spotted in my ten over watches from the otherday.
Good on the man, definately was walling.

enjoyed some top MM this weekend.

On a nice win streak and not against any smurfs.

Feel I learned more in one match against 4 Elites and a supreme though when the guys i play with aren't playing against cheaters the calls and the game sense is pretty immense.

So yeah I would say I actually enjoyed the games for the first time in a while :D

had a game last night and won the match, was a close as well but a good game.

started off badly and had someone admit they where smurfing on the other team.

kept going easy and said glad he was smurfing.

his attitude changed when they lost and he blamed his team for it lol

On deathmatch you can select reserves pool, casual too. Im not a fan of how much dust2 gets played either plus im not as good as others on it, maybe its more an aim map not sure

Most dont play reserve maps but I dont mind queuing on those if you want. They should bring back season in the next operation I reckon.

Just doing an overwatch and I have to let the person off, I think he is guilty but it wasnt obvious enough - 'maybe just lucky'
If you report someone for a wall hack, run upto a wall edge and jump as if you are going to appear in view very quickly but pull back midair so you are never visible then maybe go another way or fake as if you are. Ideal case he fires exactly at that time without seeing anyone, but even if not it underlines how they are paying more attention in time with your movement without seeing you.
Its hard to ban someone just for holding an awp on a choke point or always getting 50/50 decisions correct and ow does not give all 15 rounds to every person so make it obvious if you can imo.

The cache game last night was a wh btw, running with crosshair on floor 90% of the time. So fab to be beaten by trash lol

A solution doesnt have to be perfect to work, I dont think they'd ever do this though

Had some interesting MM games tonight. First one had an obvious cheater on it who headshot every single one of his 29 kills on it and rarely died. Lost that game, naturally! The second game though was a complete roll reversal and me and my team played very well against a clan and they ended up surrendering after 6 or 7 rounds as they couldn't even pick up frags lol.

The third game, although a loss, was the best game for me personally. The stuff I've learned so far all seemed to click and I had a seriously good clutch moment with 3v1 and I managed it :D So satisfying even though we ended up losing! A few of the guys added me to friends also which was cool.

The game is a proper test of patience, but the competitive side of it is really good fun.
