You should make the money back from cases. The maps are pretty awful though, but you get the operation coin in your inventory as well. It also helps rank up your profile rank, which rewards you with more drops. Profile rank is a new feature which rewards you for playing the game, don't confuse it with your MM rank.

I usually only play Dust/Office/Mirage/Inferno on MM. Would I still get the benefits of the operation or do I have to play designated maps?
 
not being able to check at the moment but with the new operation is it buy the access pass and you can do all the missions or is it like the vanguard one and you need to purchase the other couple aswell?

how much is the access pass in the game? cant find it on the steam store.
 
There's two mission sections unlike the four from vanguard where two were extra, but you do have to wait some time after completing the missions for a new one to be available like vanguard. It is £3.99 for the pass. And I'm pretty sure you can play the new maps without the pass, it just gives you the chance of getting the new cases as a drop in game, whereas if you don't have a pass you don't get drops of the new case.
 
And am now MG2 :) Out of my last 12 games I think I have won 9 of them while having a even/positive KD so doing fairly well.

Had an awesome moment in a game yesterday on dust II where I got a double kill with the starter CT weapon. Unfortunately I was so shocked by it that I just stopped and then got killed by someone else lol.

You dont have to do anything, the coin just enables the new case drop for you.
Every operation these start out worth something as people want new skins, eventually the case is worth like 4 cents.

Also if you have the coin and this is a big but...... but you might get a drop from cobblestone collection - cache - overpass or the 3 new additional skin collections.
No coin and you get normal drops and so on. You can always buy a case and get those skins, nobody gets those 'free'.

The XP system is just coincidence, thats there anyway. I read DOTA has this and its put in front of comp, so you enter the game as a sapper and must rank up some to enter a full game.
I'd like that as it'd slow down or distract the hackers, as apparently they want the badge bling of comp so much but actually hate playing properly.

Grtz woogie, usp is a weird gun. You can ace with that gun, it catches the heads really well


I got some small luck, got coin got case drop just after and sold to cover most of the cost. Real luck would be getting a dragonlore or masterpiece or something, like 0.01% chance


I bet on a 90% game but got paid like 10% of what I should have got. Literally cannot win because I only bet 'spare' skins, I cant get enough value in there to qualify in their lobsided totally unfair systemv :mad:
I bet on trade ninja, not perfect either and their bot system broke so nobody can get their stuff back and I dont think opskins or anywhere else really does skin betting at all

Were you by any chance playing one of the new maps or something like Cobblestone rather than the usual suspects? Cbble and Train give really low fps compared to most maps.

Odd, I'll give it a play with no launch options and see what happens. 9800ish on firestrike and got 10.2 with a mild and temporary overclock on my CPU & GPU. It's a brand new system, I may have some settings somewhere that need playing with.

All my other games play absolutely fine (GTA5 for one)

Source has very little to do with the gfx card and almost everything to do with CPU power.

Have a look at if something was running in the background using up CPU power and check your power options to make sure you've not gone to power saving mode by accident.

I didn't know that, thanks. My windows is configured for best performance, I even use 95 styled windows menu bar as it also saves me space. I was amazed by how much my fps improved by switching off all that aero crap. :)

Turns out I had multicore rendering switched off, switching it on and my FPS is locking at 300, woop!
