CS:GO Discussion

Think I'm at 5/6 on my main and smurf, only done a few missions as the mostly seem to be on causal mode which is just a cluster **** one mission was cz75 kills so on inferno I just charged through apps and was top flagging, I don't get why people play casual as it just seems silly to me. I quite enjoy arms race a demolition however.

I can see how it would be irritating for people who haven't played much since bloodhound as comp was easily the best mode to gain xp in.

Had the most pointless over watch last night, guy would start normal but as soon as he got anywhere near enemy players he'd just look at the floor and start popping heads at random. I can at least see the point of hacking but why be that blatant and waste 12 quid on the game as your going to be banned quickly.

Probably getting paid for boosting?

I've no real interest in the non-competitive modes, so will probably just stop playing. Played 3 hours or something at the weekend in competitive and only got half a level or something, cba doing 5 more of that in modes I find boring as **** :(.

no offence but that is the sort of attitude that will keep you at a low rank.

You can use the time to practice in deathmatch to get your aim sorted. in reality it is nothing and if you don't enjoy playing the game then you're probably best off uninstalling anyway.

Well, since I don't care about rank I'm fine with that :p.

I don't enjoy playing the modes that aren't competitive, I enjoy competitive, but I'll probably still uninstall because I have no interest in grinding the other modes.

the fact is that since the xp system launched, most people who play often will have easily hit the level. I play a few times a week and have hit it easily too.

It really doesn't take that much time.

I've been playing less across 2 accounts as I don't want to rank up multiple times per week and not get the drop :)

A nice little round I had

What level was that at? You should not have had a chance to win that round 4v1 coming from A to B.

They should have had 1 guy covering the tunnels either with the AWP or in the tunnels themselves, one at the back of the B site covering the window and door and the last either by car or sitting and waiting behind a box.

Nice job though.

I have rank 6 on my smurf as last games were 16:1, 16:6 and on my main I only have like rank 2 or 3. :p

I actually find people to play better on lower rank, they know their smokes and they actually listen to you. On supreme lots of people don't know their smokes, a lot are boosted and have a reflex of a 70 year old... I don't know how they got to supreme tbh.

Weird games as of late. Had some suspected cheaters, nothing obvious or provable but mostly it's been stomping 90% of games I play with my friends (4-5 stack queues). We do run into the occasional guy who drops 40 kills and is either semi pro/pro smurf, game of his life or cheating.

We play vs so many Supremes/Globals who don't even know about one way smokes or how to identify them. Last game I got called a hacker for destroying people for the whole of CT side with one way smokes @ Inferno B.

MM is just weird.

I expect an influx of new hackers as CSGO was on sale :(

+ lot of smurfs !

Maybe those ppl got boosted ?

I read they can get $20 an hour for boosting, its a shame a normal supreme couldnt do it but I guess 1 supreme plus 4 silvers isnt going to work unless they actually learn something along the way. Only nades works vs a spinbot

Just going for it is often best even if something cleverer should be happening. Far worse is to kill a player and walk while they watch on deathcam, seems a waste of time to try and be clever and fail rather then just forcing it up. Especially if its 30 seconds left or bomb down, thats like a noose round the neck. Might as well run and m4a1 has that advantage its more accurate with movement then most. Cloud 9 'best player in NA' skadoodle did this in their last game that he was so careful, couldnt be sure which bomb site was clear, checking everywhere but was 1 second off a plant so a forced loss

For those who didn't know, before the big overwatch update it was popular knowledge in the hacking community that you need to be reported 11 times in 24 hours to enter the overwatch queue. This meant that a hacker was able to blatantly hack in a 5 queue of players he trusted for 2 games every 24 hours. This has all changed now.

The overwatch 'rules' were changed to 6 reports every 24 hours to enter the overwatch queue. This has already gotten many people banned as they were still expecting to be able to play 2 games every 24 hours after the update.
2 Hackers I played March just got vac, overwatch never kicked in though its usually obvious

What is the point of boosting? I mean you aren't going to be able to play the account without losing / underperforming. Always wondered why people bother cheating in MM since sooner or later that account is going to get banned and hours of gameplay lost.

Edit: Just wanted to add nice clutch round dude though what the hell was the left guy in middle doing, that's a perfect example of the cover I get from teammates when I play with randoms.

The reason why people pay to get boosted is the same reason why they sometimes buy flashy cars/phones - prestige. Yes, CS:GO ranks can be associated with prestige, just like the number/type of feathers native americans used to wear, in example.
