Is there a demo or guest pass for this?, played cs back in the day but very little of source. This looks pretty good but at the same time don't know if it's my cup of tea anymore.

No but you get 10% off until 6pm, in 53 minutes or so. There will be plenty of mods and maps if you don't like the actual game, but you'll probably be addicted by tonight.
 
So the beta has turned into the full game, do you think the second one is MAC?

Hmm the beta has turned into the full game for me, but when I try to play it it says 'Completing Installation', and then says the steam servers are too busy. It also doesn't say I have the game on the store page. Will I have to buy the game?
 
Not sure whats happening, Just been on 2 servers managed to play for like 15 min then they both crashed with 'server not responding';

Just restarted steam and now the 2 copies of GO is just one
 
I can't find a game but I connected no problem to a server I had on my favourites, I don't think anything has changed? It still seems exactly the same as the beta.
