Wow at the purple texture bug, I haven't had that but I do get random tables, wooden pillars turn purple (like on de nuke) and also seen random tiny purple squares on textures

Used to get that in CS:S when I alt-tabbed and came back sometimes, must be a source thing.

I was absolutely horrific! But it was still a good laugh, hopefully more people will pick this up.

Well after playing GO for a whole week, I thought I'd try a go on Source again. And I don't want to say it but I have to, Source just seems a whole lot better, sure it's probably becaues I've played it more and I'm used to it. But Source seems a whole lot more 'fun'. Which is great if you want a fun time, but if you want a hardcore 1.X style CS game then yeah GO is good. But atm I'm gonna keep playing Source.

week of GO > 2 hours on source > GO again.

Holy **** the reg on GO is absolutely horribly rubbish.

I've found the reg to be pretty solid. I recommend trying to find a decent community server.

no it's not csgo is even more player friendly than css was it just has a few new ideas to make it more fun for new players the only other version that matches

hardcore 1.X style CS game

was condition zero which is better than css even today imo

I've uninstalled it now in the hope of being able to install the proper game again, but the store page gives me the option to redownload the beta, despite acknowledging that I've paid for the full game This sucks.
