The reg is good, just the bullet spread and apparently getting hit by 7 bullets in your limbs and torso would cause less than 70 damage or something and not result in death is the annoying thing for me at the moment. Some gun game is sorting me out though.


Anyone else finding it hard to see the crosshair on certain surfaces and in lightings? The classic one I mean, non of this COD styled crapness that covers half the screen. :D

Just played some CS:S as well and it felt really slow and generally weird!!! I think I'm going to cry! Might just have to change my mouse sensitivity for it again but still!! I think GO is starting to grow on me!!!

It's quite clearly made for competitive as it has a built in competitive mode. You can't move + spray like you can in source as well. You have to be accurate etc.

Everything in GO after playing Source again feels slow, firing rates, moving. Everything just seems stupidly slow. And like what's said earlier, the hitboxes are ****ed up on moving models. You can get a guy running straight at you and be unloading hell on him and then it will come out as you doing something like 26/2 with an AK it's silly really. The obvious argument is aim for the head, fine. But that goes against your argument that this is more player friendly than source. It most certainly isn't. Source is the most noob friendly CS.

Had a few casual games last night and really enjoyed it. I stopped playing CSS a few years ago so it was nice to get back into it.

All my beta achievements carried over to the game as well.
 
So should I get this or not people, better look at some reviews methinks.

I did love Counter Strike but that was years ago, might seem a little dated now? Also can you still spray paint your tag?!
 
I played some public server games and some 5v5 games last night and the reg is indeed horrible. You basically can't spray anymore even at point blank range.

It will take some getting used to anyway that's for sure.
