CS:GO Discussion

Feels like home

*looks at location* ... lol

Anyway, just read this:
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=32427670

It's an interview with a guy from Hidden Path. I interpret it as basically: Hidden Path's involvement will diminish from now, and Valve will continue with the necessary tweaks/features.

I do believe Valve will support the game well. Although if they really want to win over the majority of the 1.6 and CSS players and make CSGO THE competitive game people want, they will have to implement a fair few of the changes mentioned in the Steam forums e.g. adding SourceTV, removing cheat protection on many cvars, tweaking movement/recoil etc.

has mod support just make a cs promod version for go job done ;)

But... what about the silencers?

Yeh that also can be grouped under "things most people want"

could do but it shouldn't be necessary because the guy that made zblock (sort of like css pro mod) basically works for Valve now and he's stated that any bugs/tweaks can be patched in the game directly. Besides major things like Source TV should be implemented by Valve, rather than a third party mod. I've no doubt they will do it soon though.

I have it on my steam but havnt downloaded it yet, I really should.

Ive heard the opinions are very split on it. The pro's of cs:s like it, some people dont, some people love it, not sure wether to waste my bandwidth downloading it.

Played against bots last night when you get new guns every round, smashed the bots, they still play the same as CS:S, game feels heavy and slugish from a very quick play, Played CS:S last week and still love it and am quite good at it, would take a clan/friends to make me enjoy this I feel.
