CS:GO Discussion

Maps I'd love to see back again:

de_cbble
de_prodigy
de_cpl_mill
de_cpl_strike

I'm sure mill and strike will both come into it at some stage, as they were both used in competitive leagues and a lot of lan tournaments.

Cbble was removed due to it being too heavily CT sided and well prodigy was just for pure fun :p

I'm sure all of them will be in the game along with a lot of older maps at some point, but can only see mill (will probably be de_tuscan which was pretty much identical to cpl_mill) and strike being more likely used in leagues.

what was the map called that had the big warehouse and you could get in either through the front door, roof or vent.

I loved that map.

They should add all the classic maps back... I am not sure if they will add any more maps though becuase most of them are not used in competitive CS

So I tried playing source after playing go since beta went live and dear lord is there a difference, so much easier to kill people in source, aim and shoot. Just about every kill in go feels like a fluke, sniper rifle not being accurate, bullets seem to be made out of random and happiness, it don't feel right :(

I always played the latest version of cs, when cz came out I played that, when source came out I played that but go feels like a chore for some reason rather than mindless fun that source was to me.

I never really got into CS:S, I'm still playing COD4:MW and hate all the new COD games. Is it worth me trying this?

I hate steam, I take it there is no way to play this without Steam?

Why exactly do you hate steam? I love it, the only games I ever play are on steam, apart from blizzard games, I barely touch games that are not on steam.

I don't like the fact I have to install another program to play games, I have just always hated it. When I got MW3 I was really annoyed that I had to install stupid Steam to play it.
