This fps issue seems to be getting worse.

I used to have a steady 300fps in most maps, now i'm getting 110-120 with spikes down to 30-40 and random stuttering, going through connector on mirage normally sets it off.

I've tried loads of different fixes, update gfx drivers, realtek drivers, disable steam overlay, fps_max 0, disable joystick, etc... Even tried unparking cores and flashed my motherboard to latest bios, even overclocked my fx8320 from 4.7 to 5gh and it didn't make the slightest difference!

Its weird, when i die the fps jumps straight up to 300, is that normal?

I'm stumped?

Is anyone else having a issue within steam in regards to the insteam browser not working? nothing is loading for me, profile, store, news, community ect.... just get a blank box..

Rather than set max fps to 0, try set it to 999

De-ranked to DMG, not that bothered lol
 
I really wish parents would stop letting games babysit their kids when they aren't old enough to play it, just had a game with a 9 year old and rest of my team gave up over it and just decided to troll due to it.

Two games tonight both absolute shocking due to the other people in there.

Tried reinstalling the game?

fps_max 999 will perform the same as any other cap, won't make a difference.

With regards to this game, yeah, basically living under a rock.

As a rule I don't like FPS games, but every now and then one comes along that I enjoy (e.g. TF2 or some of the CoD games).

I don't buy a lot of games these days due to having a massive backlog of games to get through. I usually buy things when they're on sale, so £8 is quite an expensive purchase for me.
 
Some hilarious games tonight. The highlight was an LEM+ 1xSMFC game on mirage whereby myself and two teammates accumulated approx 30 Zeus frags throughout. One particular player managed to get zeused no less than 13 times, leading to his ragequit. We managed to pull out an confident win with easily positive KDs...
 
Stopped playing CS:GO for a month. Plan was to totally stop playing so I focus on other stuff.

Well, started playing again lol. There is a local LAN which I wanna attend so I set a deadline for a team. If I find a team by the end of the week, then I'll play till the LAN then stop. If not, then I'll stop after this week.

Game is exactly like I remember it. No FPS drops for me. No ping issues. No issues at all actually. Last game i played I went from SMFC to LEM. Since I've been back I played 5 games; 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss. Was enough to push me back to SMFC again lol. It seems that once you earn a rank then you lose it, it is very easy to get it back. I think I had been ~+11 wins (11 more wins than losses) (and that is not including draws) before I got supreme the first time. Also, not the first time that I regain a rank easily, but achieving a new rank is a pain in the backside.

No joke, COD makes my head hurt. So Im not sure but cs does involve some thought not so much arcade. If you play CS a lot the game effectively is free due to csgo economy, sounds strange and it is


30 zeus kills - i would rage. It should be bought every pistol round now maybe, its probably a bit OP along with a lot of things.

With the ranks, you drifted over the bracket line and then back again. Sounds its as it should be. I got 8 wins 1 draw 1 (old) loss no rank change but thats par for me and I top fragged most games. I got like 9 losses and 1 draw on another account and it just sticks same rank forever and those ones I get like 10 kills :o. '
The rungs on the ladder are not evenly spaced, so nova changes twice as frequently my guess

Dual berratas could be worth trying now maybe? but Tec9 still best \o/
