Enjoying the new horse update today. Couldn't hear the defuse sound when running near it which was great. Changed name to dobbin

We played a few last night, wasn't quite as much of a success as Monday :p

We had players who ranged from DMG > SMFC, the skill level between the ranks was quite vast and it showed in game, although the chaps we had did hold their own for the most part (kudos to you if you're active and in this thread :)).

We had no communication compared to Monday, and it showed in our games, especially when playing T.
 
Games like we had on Monday don't happen to often, when every one is having fun, talking loads and playing well.

Depends what kind of day I've had to the mood I'm in when I sit down to play I think.

Stressy day = bad play :)
 
I lost a lot of interest in this game to be honest. Shame as i've been playing the series for nigh on 15 years!

Just too much hassle what with mad ping spikes and the community. Found a couple decent guys so might just play occasionally. Otherwise I'll keep it to casual and just wipe up. :D

I read 2 paces running will make no sound now, that'd be useful. Any attempt to fix sound on csgo I welcome, I think its slightly broken in general and if they are trying to further the game great though no doubt it'll be 1 step back occasionally

5x An issue with your computer is blocking the VAC system. You cannot play on secure servers tonight. Did all the usual fixes multiple time..

Cant get it fixed while normally it would be fixed after doing those commands in cmd etc..

I stopped playing for a month and now It will not let me play with my friends as I have no rank. I really think it should keep the rank you were at before you stopped.

I wonder, if when you 'lose' your rank throguh inactivity, will it place your first game in with people of your old rank based on what your last recorded elo rating (or whatever it is they use), or stick you in with GN2's?

I'd imagine the former, but you never know with volvo

I actually think it just puts you in a game with the rank you were at before. Which is why I don't see why it wouldn't let you play with a similar rank straight off rather than making you play one game by yourself first.
 
I'm assuming it somewhat hinders people who buy ranked accounts above their skill level when the account has been inactive for a couple weeks.
 
Was smurfing last night and was surprised how I ranked up to MG2 then the following game straight to MGE in 1 game :rolleyes: 40 bombed whilst queing with two Eagles 1 DMG perhaps had something to do with it :p But I was genuinely surprised it's doable in 1 game.

Some big changes in the pro scene today :O

pronax steps down or Fnatic, dennis from G2 in. aizy signs to G2

Pimp has also left Dignitas, and they have added k0nfig and RUBINO to their roster.

Pronax leaving fnatic is disastrous. He was easily their most consistent player across major tournaments.
