CS:GO Discussion

Nah its off, tried raw input on and off, vsync etc

Put sensitivity up to 9 and feels a little better, I think it really is just a case of me expecting it to handle differently.

Oh just join some of my games, the way im playing lately you will de-rank on no time :(

I don't care about the rank, but my mate told me to keep this account low and I got carried away a little bit...

BTW rank doesn't reflect how good a player is, I mainly play solo. You always get trolls and people who got boosted who make the game nearly impossible to win.

A quick example from my last match. :p

I love the type of games were everybody has around 20-23 kills, now since I sold my bike and winter is around the corner I'll try to get back with my old mates who have GE and maybe rank up. :(

Neo....dude you are heading straight for silver 1. Most people use anywhere from 1.3-3.5 sens @ 400 dpi. 12 Sens @ 400dpi will give you crazy pixel skipping and 12 sens at anything above 50dpi is insane (hell 12 sens @ 50dpi would have insane pixel skipping too).

CS:GO Player Setups has a large number of pro sensitivities on it to give you an example of usable settings (and some just crazy..looking at you Prof Chaos).

I use in-game 1.7, mouse: 400dpi 500hz, m_rawinput 0 and MarkC Mousefix.

Try to set it to 2.0 400dpi or 1.0 800dpi and work you way up from there. ;)

Edit

To see if it feels right, play some DM and AIM maps with long/short distances maps to give you an idea.

i dont do anything to my mouse, uses default settings in CSGO and windows.

have the option to change speed on mouse and use the second option out of the three i can cycle through

Something must be off somewhere, just have a Razer Deathadder plugged into the laptop and don't think I even have proper drivers installed for it. Every other game feels fine on default so need to see why I need it so high for the game to feel right.

Another tip, stay with the sens for 2 weeks at least. Don't switch from one to another, as all of them will feel s....

I've been using 400dpi 1.7 in-game since CS 1.5, I've changed my sense numerous of times. But this one is universal and best suited for any situation for me.

At that Resolution you going to be CPU bound, you want to high the res up and push the GPU to do more work you should then have better performance.

No way the CPU should be struggling with CSGO at these settings..

Either way I'm not changing from 1024 i'm used to it and hate the extra detail at higher resolutions.

It's fine to play with since rolling back the drivers but I thought it'd be more solid around the 300fps mark than it is.
