ages ago I was 1080p and Iam on same card but dont think I can go higher then 1024x768 now.
I'll do some fraps testing now with various changes.
csgo - 2.4ghz i7
Frames: 49834 - Time: 383750ms - Avg: 129.861 - Min: 83 - Max: 196

csgo - 4ghz i7
Frames: 65852 - Time: 360718ms - Avg: 182.558 - Min: 122 - Max: 261


Disappointing final finale but Famas master race confirmed

Why are you using 1024x768? There's no advantage in using such low res in this game, I can still easily hit HS or do no zooms on 1080p. I ranked up to Global on 1080p, lower res is blurry...

The only reason I played 640x480 before the update in 1.6 was, because the recoil was smaller and heads were bigger. But since I had to AWP in my team, I had to change to 8x6... :rolleyes:

Edit Unless you're playing stretched, then yeah the heads are slightly bigger. But... the mouse movement is not 1:1 and I find it really hard to know where to aim when someone comes around the corner to get insta kill.

Did you get the usual ENJOY BAN in chat?

Noticing more and more lately anyone half decent with awp attracts the "reported" crap from someone who can't handle running into the same position every round.

I find it hilarious.

I dabble in some pub games whilst waiting for friends, the amount of hacking accusations thrown around by everyone is amazing.
Got killed by someone on the opposing team with a 1-0-7 score? THEY MUST BE HACKING!!! :p

What are you video settings people? I've ditched lowest settings, when the textures are higher detail for me it makes it easier to spot someone. The models seem to stand out more and the textures don't look that washed out...

FX-AA off (it actually makes it worse)
AA as max as you can take it.
this is a youtube I looked at.

I don't really need it as i have around 450 fps in MM, with a couple settings lowered. With all high i'm around 300+

changing to Multi-sampling AA changes framerate quite a lot (100 fps?)


also when i have time i'll upload an ace of mine, which i'm pretty proud of.

BTW What knife is worth getting, I don't want to loose out on it in the future. I'll most likely buy it just before steam christmas sales, prices might go down? :)
 
Terminator more like :p doesnt make a lot of sense, they beat Fnatic in bo3 and nearly win the Lan. Cant really expect to just stumble into another group this highly skilled, he wouldnt leave them and they wouldnt chuck him out.
Its external factors like health or most likely org based

NiP is a ******** **** ** **** org that doesn't pay their players and everyone in the roster is leaving after their contracts run out at the end of 2015, allu just was the first one to announce this.

Thats the only one I use. CPU counts a lot in fps, not sure if 2.4ghz is slow now but the game much prefers when I overclock to 4.
Its a lot noisier for me though

1280x1024 4xAA 2.5ghz

csgo
Frames: 11826 - Time: 102563ms - Avg: 115.305 - Min: 83 - Max: 175
1080p all low no AA 2.5ghz
1080p looks so much better, like a proper game :o its been over a year

general toxicity really

If you wait for someone who over rotates you're a camper

If you shoot someone in the same spot round after round you're a cheater.

If you use your brain and out manoeuvre them you have WH

If you see 3 bodies kill 2 and wait for the 3rd because you know he has to come back you're a cheater because you can count.

My usual response especially in casual is congrats I've evaded being banned for 14 years now and you with your impeccable game knowledge and experience has caught me.

I killed a person 6 rounds in a row as he kept trying to push through apps on CT side and i was waiting for him every time for the easy frag. I got abuse for the rest of the game as i was cheating, supposedly...

The funny thing is some of those screaming hax0r have been banned themselves for cheating. How messed up do you have to be to cheat yourself then cry about them when you still can't win.
