I'm happy the update has been rolled back, It nerfed my play style so much I didn't enjoy playing it anymore.
I can now enjoy myself again so going to celebrate with a few games tonight if anyone is going to be about.
 
Well done Valve listening to the community, I hope they do that more.

Valve essentially have their PD done for them via some posts on reddit, they just need to decide the best way to implement the changes the community have asked for time and time again.
 
Even though the rifle nerf was apparently very minor it seemed to make a massive difference in game, I loved the AK but found myself not wanting to use it since the winter update.
 
I should be about tonight for a few games.

I liked the idea of the update though it was just to extreme, even though they said it was a minor change it made a huge difference to the game.

Pleased its rolled back but I'm open to similar more tested updates in the future.

I think what annoys people the most is a big update with what seems and no proper testing before release. The amount of bugs that came with the r8 was ridiculous.

It wasn't just me, one other guy on my team had lag issues, and 1 on the opposing team. My loss and choke on the server were baaaaad, and that sv thing was flicking into yellow/red at times. The server was awful. When we all joined the first comment from others was "another great server" sarcastically. So no, it wasn't my fault.

Sure you can't judge him by a few video clips posted online, but if he's been banned by overwatch he's 99.99999999% some dirty little cheater, who happens to be a massive idiot.


Also the reverted nerfs are a good thing, I'm pleased they revered them but that's only because I think the nerfs were so stupidly done and didn't even change what they were aiming at changing, just added more randomness.

Honestly I could hardly feel the differences in spray, a few sprays I missed up felt like it was down to the changes but most likely was just me being bad. The glock was noticeably worse though.

Pistols do need a rework though that is 100% for sure. I personally don't think rifles need touching much/at all.
 
The ban is an overwatch for griefing, and I'm fully aware of what match was overwatched to get that ban. A while ago I posted a screenshot when I had a german premade, which was shouting through the microphone, not trying/trolling with deagles on 1st round etc. I gave up on 8th round and just played with knife and smoke+flash nades. I was 2nd on the scoreboard by the end of the match, I'm no 0lofmeister, just use common sense...

Now the lie about the ban was, purely to see peoples reaction on here. Everyone moans about cheaters (inc. me), but on much lower ranks where its usually people smurfing who look like cheaters because they get those 30-40 frags. The situation looks a little differently on Global, I usually talk with the guys who I play with and or get a mate to spec that person before I report him. Scream is a perfect example, of how some people can play... I only just got home, so will search for the demo for those who still don't believe me... For now, some highlights...
1-2 lucky shots through out a 40 min+ game is really not that much, later I'll post a demo of a guy who was actually using hacks on opposite team for comparison. ;)

Oh yeah, here's the screenshot... so no one calls it BS about the reason. I know, I should have just played on... but this was the 4th game lost mainly because people didn't give a single F about winning, so yeah... I'm actually quite happy about this ban, no CS for 5 weeks maybe even longer. No more temptation, when someone sends you that invite. Time for W3 on highest difficulty. :)

Here you go, went on TS3 with those guys. Jonas gave an idea to play with a R8's for the whole match, so we played only using them (not quite). Had a laugh, no one was toxic, one of the few lost games which I enjoyed. :) This was on a smurf account too, just for the reference I got banned on my main.

You wouldn't understand a single word, we were talking in czech and polish. But nope, it was MM which not many people seem to take seriously... just look at what level Globals play on there compared to faceit or ESEA on higher ranks. ;)

Just when I get a rythm going with my play style, this Winter Update ruins it to the point I don't enjoy the game anymore. Deranked twice. Sigh.

in b4 practice more get better blah blah.
 
They have literally reverted all the balance changes and the original nerfs to the rifles weren't they huge really.

Although there have been a lot of talk about valve changing something with the ranks a sort of reshuffling. Lots of people have been deranking fast.

It's no secret thet since the major vac waves and changes to the game to make cheating less impactful the distribution of ranks has been totally bodged. People in silver waiting 5-15 mins for a game because only smurfs and trolls wanting to be in silver were actually in silver :/ and people who are still very much novices at the game are LE - global.

I think they are addressing the issue by trying to repopulate the lower ranks rather than adding more ranks.
