I tend to buy mine and nearly always buy MW but with high floats or damage in good places.

For example my Stattrak Flip Slaughter is MW but has FN look.
My USPS Kill Confirmed FT looks FN because the wear on that skin makes the colours look slightly darker.

FN isn't always needed if you buy smart :)

I got the bs version and its fine enough for me. Some of the skins have nothing left by the time they get that low and others can be ok as the model hands cover up bits missing anyway :p

Godsent beating Mouz was a big upset, they really looked shaky for the majority of the match.
Actually the best odds I saw were like 8x for GS to win after the 1st map loss, live odds are on fanobet which is a site that does skins like lounge but Odds change (and fix not drift like lounge) every 30 seconds.
anyway I wasnt that smart just a normal bet on lounge and because it was so unexpected my junk skin won back a FT glock water elemental which to me appears as good as the FN. I'll sell it as its very popular being a default weapon. No reason not to buy a cheaper one though imo

The Bowie Knife thing is probably not a thing to sell on market. For starters its super rare, you dont have to rush to do anything. The supply is really low, price in either direction is not altering that much.
Secondly its almost a unique item. Theres maybe 10,000 candy red mac-10 drops in game every day, any combination is already out there on sale but the pattern on the knife is usually quite unique so somebody will want it. Its a new case, not that much in population so its a sellers market. I never even seen this knife in game not that I collect expensive stuff but rarer stuff can get new buyers as they see it.

Like every time Niko or Forest etc at whichever Lan gets an ace with a Deagle its usually the blaze skin and thats limited so Im very hesitant to sell that drop I got from an operation. It doesnt appear normally, the game population is still rising so demand exceeds supply.

The market has deductions or tax, other sites barely take anything off. The market caps prices, other sites let items show float value which brings out the long term buyers who want that detail.
I sold a low float candy mac for 10x steam market price, just was slightly different to a normal FN and people collect that - looks the same to me :p

Other sites let you accept bitcoin, cash or swap for items you prefer possibly worth more. Ive sold $7 items for $10 because I was happy to take a betting token since thats where I get the item from originally anyway. Reddit should have a guide on this.

Really enjoyed watching this Dreamhack, thought the production and set up far surpassed that of the Major.

Also great to see NiP back at the top after their issues over the last year or two, hope they can keep it up!

Just wondered really. Maybe I'm just fussy and want things to be 'new'. I've certainly noticed recently that a few of the skins that i bought have gone up in value but I don't think I've got any individual ones over £5 but considering I've only bought stuff from selling items from drops its not like I'm spending any cash to get them.

Here's the FAQ string that describes its intent:

CS:GO is running an experiment to find out whether players will have a better matchmaking experience when they are matched with players who are using a phone-linked CS:GO account.

To join the experiment, you'll need to upgrade your CS:GO account to Prime status. Just click the UPGRADE button below, which will bind your Steam phone number to your CS:GO account (provided it qualifies, see the F.A.Q. below).

If you own multiple CS:GO accounts, be sure to upgrade your favorite one since you can only upgrade one CS:GO account to Prime status with your qualifying phone number.

Once there are enough Prime accounts, we will begin Prime Account Matchmaking and will start prioritizing matching Prime status players with each other.

There's nothing else you need to do (except convince your friends to click that Upgrade button too so we get enough players to start testing!)

Any chance they stopped the chickens still in Easter. I have hardly touched this since December but they were still hopping last week.
 
The revised Nuke sucks, way too vibrant it hurts my eyes. The layout changes are awful as well - I spent ages trying to master the bhop onto silo and now you can just jump up..

Hope this "Prime" works, it'll be a great update for people such as myself that haven't yet moved on to ESEA, FaceIT etc.

signed my account up to "prime" and had 4 games today - all good games, no obvious smurfs in any of the games. Nice communicative teams/players etc.

Whether that was just pure luck or whether it was a case of the "prime" working early doors, i'll wait and see.

Jumped on for a game when I saw you're comment, Don't think I had any cheaters either, Had a numpty in my team though, Dropped him a M4A4 and took another that someone dropped and he started shooting me in the back because he wanted the one I picked up..
 
Yeah prime hasn't even started yet.

Also its not going to stop people from cheating, it might lower the amount of smurfs but its so easy and cheap to get a phone number that the cheaters will still be fine. at least ESEA has its own anti cheat which cuts down on it.
