Yeah thats a good point SS. I never understood why people didnt push long A more in the pro scene and the stairs does make covering B a little easier for the CT side. We know how much valve loves a CT sided map :P

Cobble Update - Thoughts

Im not too sure i like the addition of stairs on long B.

I used to like being boosted and surprising a B rush, but that's not so much a tactic anymore because you dont need a 3rd guy to boost and then watch valley or drop. So they anticipate someone there. There will be no more waiting against the corner wall now on a 2v1 situation thats my genius plan blown to pieces!

Any thoughts?
 
Headset problem

Has anyone else experienced their mic randomly disabling? I have a Creative headset and during a game ill stop hearing chat and realise when i go onto the settings that the mic has been switched to disabled. Sometimes it will happen half way through a round, there's no predictability to it at all. My exec.cfg doesnt have any commands for sound so i dont think its that. Its like the headset is conflicting with the game in terms of priority issue or permissions.

Any helpo would be greatly appreciated =)

Thought i'd put some hours in on MM and try to achieve my rank back, always after a great hard earned streak the important rank up game involves complete .... of a team against opponents playing perfectly as a team! Reminds me why I left MM in the first place.
 
Why is there so many Russians/Middle East players?

I never seem to get mached up through Steam with English players, and it obviously makes teamwork very very hard. I am still doing placement matches.....

Totally agree with this.

People say 'oh its just a game'...well..... there's absolutely zero point in playing make believe if the whole skill aspect is being taken away. Otherwise you may as well spend up to 90 minutes watching the extra rinse cycle on an old Creda.
 
I was waiting for a game with some friends last night (they were just finishing off a match) so I decided to view a Global Elite game via GOTV.

One guy was so obviously cheating it was unreal. Through smoke shots, single headshot degeales, like 3 in a row etc. After 9 round, he has 32 kills with the next best player on 7!!!
 
i started playiong on the faceit servers again yesterday and it is soooo much better than ingame mm. especially for those of you that are solo playing as the players are usually helpful and want a good game (even the russian ones were talking and being useful! ;) )

we played 3 games and only one was spoilt by two of the opponent team having really bad pings and d/c all the time.

had a great game on overpass, UK server, game finished 16-14, i had 38 kills :).....and we still lost (rest of my team were pretty bad), but it was still a really enjoyable game!

servers are 128tick so the reg is insane compared to the aweful steam servers.

the veto system before the game works really well , i was captain so could pick the map and server location :)
