I have been on the TFU server for past couple nights, seems nice and relaxed. Apart form the occasional outburst of rage down the mic from someone, the general attitude seemed good.
ayyy that's what we're going for, somewhere where you can have some competitive play and a bit of a laugh too. yea there will always be rage coming from somewhere, think i'll add to the welcome page to keep rage to a minimum
.... although it can be funny sometimes xD
i can't really say much as i rage so much when playing games
and if someone is being a tool i will let them know.
a few fine examples from a games over the past few nights.
1) be a T, only 1 from each team remaining, CT is defusing the bomb, our T sneaks up close to the guy, looks at him then walks away and CTs win...smooothhhhh
2) team damage/kill at the start, was running down the CT ramp on ummm dust (1 or 2 i can't remember) and someone just opened fire into the back at me....bull **** was it an accident as i turned around and side stepped and he was still firing. ok a cheeky little poke with a knife can be funny but just out right killing is just annoying.
3) terrorists who don;t plant the bomb. be on dust, A is clear.... be with the bomb carrier. i call for him to plant the bomb, he starts to wander off down long A, 5 secs later a CT pops out from long A and takes him out and they now have 2 covering the bomb.... /sigh
also rage when i can;t throw grenades.... which is allot
i swear the contact box of the grenades is the size of a basketball! the amount of times i've thrown something clear of a window frame, wall, door, fence.... only to have the damn thing bounce back at me....
best is the Molotov....was on italy as T, went all the way to ct spawn and then back up on the left hand side. I was on the street level (the ramp/stairs on my left) and i saw some CT's mincing about by the little walkway/doorways.... me being the smart guy i am i throw a molotov.... it flies.... it hits the wall above their heads...."this is going to be sweet!" ....it bounces..... "wait wut?".... the glass bottle BOUNCES off the stone wall... back down the ledge and smashes on the ground just infront of me... engulfing me in flames.... ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.....
that was pretty funny to be fair but i still raged
one thing i can say is not to take anything said over the voice comms to heart. there can be allot of banter and it can get quite heated. but the majority of the time it is not mean maliciously, it is just that... banter, like the other night we had a guy on called scouser who we though was scouser from out clan but it wasnt and he picked up on one of our members scouse accents and then the whole thing went on from there..
was quite funny to listen to in all honesty but it can also get annoying.
