CS:GO Discussion

I took a crack at this and im liking it. Not like my old days level of fun but its getting there. Aiming doesnt seem to be the key at the mo, just spraying at full auto?
 
I bought a CS:GO server to mix on but I never use it so I just made it public.



Update: It's 128 tick now too

I thought the same tbh!

However after giving it a lot more time, we've started to build our clan up and are about to enter Enemy Down. If any body fancies joining us just visit our website site and sign up.

The one thing GO has done is bring together the CSS and 1.6 community. At present there are not many highly paid competitions in 1.6 and source. All are in GO... So this is naturally a step in the right direction.

We also have our own public server, plenty of OCUKers use it.

Can anyone help me out....

made a little buy cfg file, named it autoconfig.cfg, if I exec this from console none of the buy scripts work. Also it doesn't seem to let me change my cl_updaterate and cl_cmdrate...

If I type the binds straight into the console they work so isn't a problem with how I wrote them

Do they both need to be read only?

very confused...
 
Personally I'd save it as "autoexec.cfg" (with quotes) because the actual auto-exec functionality may be added at some point.

Buy scripts in right format? e.g.

bind "kp_downarrow" "buy ak47; buy m4a1"

Also, put: host_writeconfig at the bottom of the cfg. Don't save them as read-only.

ok another question, is there a way I can browse the valve servers through the in game browser? Can't seem to find many UK servers, mostly french and german....
 
I don't think so unfortunately. Also, I don't think we have official "Valve" servers in the UK. They are from some third party company called "Pinion white label".

Some popular UK severs: Yorkshire UK, TFU, UKCS (lots of these). I don't have IPs at the moment, but have you tried searching "UK" in the filter box in the server browser?

BTW patch incoming today with two new maps :D
 
my fave list keeps loosing all my fave servers? And my server History shows that ive not played recently? Anyone else get that? also i cant join games from the server list from windows, i need to load game first and use the server browser in game?
