CS:GO Discussion

Well there is a standard pro player range since they all use in in that range.

If by range you mean from 0 to maximum then sure, there is a range. If you don't mean this then no, there is no Pro Player mouse sensitivity range.... The idea of such a thing is lol worthy.

If thats what you want to believe then okay but most pro players use 400-800dpi and 1-3 in game sens.

Yep, this certainly used to be the case in CSS as well. Lower overall sensitivity means minor errors in your hand movement have less of an effect on your aim than they would at high sensitivity, making your aim more consistent overall.

I go between gold nova 2 and gold nova master (rank hasn't settled). How seriously do you guys take the game? I try to win, but have some days where I just can't hit the broad side of a barn.
I don't have a set team. I just want a large friends list so I can play as a team whenever I feel like. Hate playing with randoms.
Hey all ,

Been on OCUK for sometime now and I'm currently Ranked Master Guardian 2 with 209 Wins

Looking for People to play with :) If i fit the bill please either Reply with your friend Community URL or add me :) (If you do add me - Just let me know here)

Whilst what you are saying about minor errors in hand movement on low sensitivity are true, there were plenty of pros from source that used to opt for higher sensitivity for speed purposes (I don't mean max dpi and max in game or anything stupid, I just mean higher than what has been mentioned so far in this thread). I realise that 'the majority' of Pros will use a sensitivity that is slightly on the low side, but the point I'm trying to get across is that when it comes to mouse sensitivity it is purely 100% personal preference and no 'Pros' would be stupid enough to not realise this and advise people to use a set sensitivity. You can't teach someone what mouse sensitivity to use as it's completely dependent on the individual. If anyone doesn't agree with this I'd love to see a respected link to a source that suggests otherwise.

Used to be two type of aimers back in ze day :D the ones suggested above, lower mouse sense more control etc and then often in faster FPS games such as Quake/UT the flick aimers.

With massively high sensitivity like an extremely fast paint stroke, they would flick up to the target and then back down again.

Because by the sounds of it they are new to the game :p

I was awful when I first started, had no idea how to defuse and got confused about who is enemies(used to always shoot teammates).

I have been playing CS since 1.6 and source iv played all of them :) constantly top of the team but people just like too troll and TK me i got kicked from a few for "hacking"

i just need to get into the higher ranks :)

I have added you both :p

Swagger is my Steam name

Cool, added you. What is your rank? I keep the ranks next to the people on my friend's list, so that I know who I will be inviting.

My friend's list (CS:GO Players section, because I split my list) looks like this.

Much better than the few players I had before.:cool:

Reddit and OCUk helped to build that list :D

Guys do bother buying keys or just get the skins when they reduce in price on the market? every box/sticker iv opened has always been turd so thinking not to bother anymore.

Just started playing this on my laptop. I absolutely suck although find it pretty entertaining. Am i right in thinking the classic cross hair is the favourite to use? Only played on the UK::CSG server or whatever its called. I need a lot of training(practise) :)

Oh is there not a OCUK server?

I've opened quite a few cases best things I've gotten where AK47 | Redline, AWP | Redline and AWP | Boom. Not really worth it, better to just buy the skin you want.

Yeah, most people use the classic static crosshair.

Wasted so much money on keys to get Tec-9 Sandstorms.

Only buy the skins I want now which has become an addiction

If you ever really feel the need to buy keys don't buy them from valve. You can get them from trading sites for about $2 a key (currently about £1.19) instead of £1.50 a key.
