Cubeworld - Minecraft style RPG ( INDIE )

Managed to get it, but can't see an option to invert the mouse :( Anyone know if there is a way to do this and I'm just being thick ?

Love the look of this but can't play unless I can invert the mouse.

Considering I burned out on Minecraft before it really became feature rich I am thinking of skipping the Alpha, some of the planned features sound great.

It's probably going to be hard to abstain though, looks pretty spiffy. Anyone know if it's cheaper while in Alpha?

12:25pm: Just bought it for thrift, will play it when it's released.

12:26pm: Go to make a brew.

12:27pm: Leg it back to the PC.

12:28pm: It's installed and I'm playing it.

Who was I kidding?

Quite interested in this, will probably buy it tonight but it would be great to get opinions from those fortunate enough not to be stuck at work!

Its okay. There isn't much to do at the minute but what is done so far feels quite polished and it looks really pretty.

Still a LOT of work to be done but so far its looking good, I get quite bored playing on my own though.

Some people on 4chan managed to get a 64 player server up and running somehow even though the cap is usually 4 player.

Don't play in a window, it'l cook your graphics card :p

However full screen, it's doing nicely and performance is great! Game could do with brightness controls as it's too bright and a server listing perhaps. Also you will get bored when playing on your own, play with a friend!

For the price? RECOMMENDED!

It's a good laugh, but I'll probably never touch it again unless my friends bite too. It's really one of those games that only makes sense online.

Combat is fun enough, quite repetitive though. Do you unlock additional skills MMO style?

The world is huge. I mean obviously, it's essentially infinite, but I mean it feels epic. I was wandering around a town and somebody said "Have you been to something something mountains yet? I've marked it on your map". So I went cross country, took about 20 minutes to reach it without a mount, on the way I stumbled on an old ruin, inside were an angry mob of undead that drove me out. I might have had a chance if I was with someone. I found some simple caves and loads of different mobs on the way and the terrain is lovely is a similar way that Minecraft is beautiful in a low tech manner. I logged out when I reached the mountains. I'm not really sure what the peaks had to offer, if there was some caves or dungeons or whatever then they eluded me.

I was getting destroyed by virtually everything, I wasn't using my second attack enough though which proved pretty lethal once you get used to the timing of MP replenishing. I enjoyed the difficulty though, I stumbled accross a huge Ogre in a forest on the way to the mountains, I had to run for my life. There were plenty of other creatures I had to leg it from as well.

I might have another little bash, but I'm mostly going to wait until it's released I think.
