Cubeworld - Minecraft style RPG ( INDIE )

Finding it hard to find enemies I can actually kill with my mage! Only clocked up about an hour of gameplay but should be atleast level 2? lol :D

Having a lot of fun just running around like an imbecile though! game is beautiful!

You need to play on the server we do, about the same time. We can help you level up :)

It's very tough to start, especially on your own and especially as a mage.

Would be well up for this! Although, won't have any voice communication as I am currently looking for a "xbox-live" sort of headset for the PC ( Which I can use for PS3 aswell!). Being deaf in 1 ear sucks, my TB are totally useless to me know ;(

Will I have to try and level up a bit tomorrow seeing as you are all far and away ahead of me ? lol
 
You could always listen to our conv in TS but type it in game :) Atleast you'll have support, besides we've caused people to level up by 4+ sometimes lol :D

Everyone is welcome on the TS at any time, it's always up and not just for cubeworld!

UPDATE - It looks as if the server owner will not be on the server tomorrow, so we better hope that AUTO RESTART script works, or we are screwed :)

Still though, if all goes well it's back to combat :D
 
I think he managed to get it working near the end of the night so hopefully it holds up!

I'm tempted to go back on it from watching those videos Neil... addictive.
 
I logged off for 20 mins then logged back on to explore some caves :p Must stop now.

We could trade ingredients, iron ore for example is useless to me but I could use wood to upgrade my staff.
 
Jumped on there, started a Ranger...finding it a lot easier than the mage! Will probably stick with him until I get a better grasp of the game! Haven't came across a cave or anything yet, are they marked on the map when you discover them?

Also, what does the two crossed sword markers on the map mean? Boss fights?

I did the reverse (ranger to mage) No caves aren't marked, they're usually pretty small. 2 crossed swords is a dungeon type area with a boss.

Planned Landscape: Savannahs

Savannahs have a warm and dry climate and consist of sunny grasslands with few trees and wild animals.

Undead lands are contaminated landscapes without vegetation, populated by evil undead creatures.

Procedural quests are randomly generated tasks with varying story, creatures, and places. Our goal is to come up with a diversified non-repetitive system.

We're planning to add a background story and lore to add more depth.

We're planning to enable players to build their own house. Players will be able to store items, trophies, pets etc. in their house and extend the house gradually.




Planned: Advanced Skill Trees

We're planning to add more complex skill trees with additional skills, branches, and options.



Planned: More Classes

We're planning to add more classes in future updates.



so so can't wait!! :D
 
So platinum coins let you upgrade your weapons and armour to your current level, I checked and it was 20-30 coins to get it up to our current level (from probably 6/7)

You can also buy stronger lamps that throw out more light, I think everyone should do this after our desperate dash in the dark :p
