I quite like that. It will be interesting to see what other curved designs appear. You never know, they may come up with a revolutionary design for the SGS5.

I don't get all this curved stuff - I remember when TVs were curved, and flatter squarer screens were all the rage!
On watches and stuff yeah OK maybe - but TVs and Phones? Why would you want your image distorted on a curved screen?
But then I don't really get 3D either. I think that's a load of gimmicky nonsense too.

I don't see the point until they're offering truly flexible devices, until then I'll have my screen flat thank you.

Curved TVs are definately a gimmick. Probably curved phones too. It may make it easier to stretch your thumb to the other side of the screen though so I'd like to try it.

So you're on a train and set your phone on the table or seat tray to watch a video but the phone keeps rocking back and forth.... nice. Not.

True "flexible" and not fixed curved or forget about it.

Yup really can't see the point other than to be different, I guess it would sit in the hand better, but flat phones really aren't a problem, so its a solution to something that doesn't really exist. Esp as trends are making phones bigger & bigger and many are choosing phablets, curving one of those big boys isn't going to make it any more one handable

Solution to a problem that doesn't exist :p By the time full flexible screens are a palatable possibility, Google will be beaming stuff into your visual cortex anyway

You just described something that's like nails going down a chalk board...ohhh dear god the horror of it!

View this as a stepping stone to future screens. They are testing the tech in the market place, and will likely be releasing further developments of adaptable screens in the future.

Thinking about it now, will it not be echo'y when your speaking on it, if it doesnt sit flush to your face?
