Cyberpunk 2077 Ultra performance

Yeah i get that and like i said its not the first time i have seen it but for what is a higher end GPU only one generation old to get what 30 FPS average at 1080P? Seems excessive to me, Gregester said its much better with the latest patches so i'll not give up on it yet, i'm certainly not paying £1500 to play 60 FPS+ at 1080P.
Was watching some videos on the tube and it seems to hold 40+ fps on ultra at 1080p on the 2060, and 30+ at 1440p, I am sure that the 2070 will be fine for 1080p. the 2060 hit 60 at high settings

@Gregster Thank you for the images. Is the top one with RT? (Judging by ther clarity of the billboard reflection and the neon sign to the right of its reflection?)
Yes mate. Not scientific images and just a shot in the same place with RT on Ultra (can be dialed up to psycho but I can't see a difference except ~15 fps) and RT off. Even RT off looks good but you do notice it is off in truth and in fluid motion RT is so good looking, I would want it on.

Tried last night, suprised how the R7 did at 1440p

It auto preset to ultra, that gave between 30-45 FPS, dropped to high and seeing 45-60fps dependant on environment, which still looks REALLY really pretty and was fine for me

I’m running high ultra now on a 3060ti ray tracing except for global illumination quality dlss 1800p on a 4K display locked to 30 runs smooth. My cpu 3600 just isn’t good enough to do 1440p at 60fps consistent on this. Need that 5600x

Tomshardware is looking at the performance of the relase version of Cyberpunk 2077, doesn't look to different to what we saw before at 1080p Ultra:

the min FPS of high end GPUs like the RX 6800 XT and RTX 3080 is noticeably higher. Odly, RTX 3080 got a higher min FPS than the RTX 3090, maybe due to random variation.

To me, the reflections in the puddle are too clearly defined in the top image to be realistic. Perhaps it looks more impressive when moving about, but I can't say I'm sold on RT based on this.

Someone mentioned previously that 'clean' reflections are less computationally expensive that blurred/diffused reflections. I assume because the light goes in less directions. So likely we will be seeing well defined reflections for some time in games.

We need to see 4K Ultra performance with DLSS performance / Quality enabled with Ray Tracing off really, to properly judge the game's performance.

Static shots don't do it justice for sure. CDPR have done an excellent job with the non RT side, but your jaw drops with RT. It does feel like the next generation of graphics.
