I honestly can't decide if @EastCoastHandle is like a Duracell rabbit or a broken record.

You're not actually here to talk about CP you're here just to bash Nvidia just like all your other 'content' that you post. Can you not just troll those threads instead? Rather than trying to keep convincing everyone how bad the game is and how pointless RT is, when plenty of people are enjoying the game despite the bugs and think it looks fantastic with/without RT and posting in the CP performance thread. I appreciate your carefully selected less than 200 view videos that you pluck out of obscurity like your most recent one but why not just let people discuss the game, how they are optimising it and how they do or don't find RT worth the performance hit?

Haaa!
The truth is I'm just reporting events regarding the launch and how it relates to Nvidia. How the community and media as a whole has received it. I am just a messenger. :D

All the information that I provided is not just my opinion. The links, videos, pics, media, etc all demonstrate the same theme. That's cdpr screwed up. They released a broken game which the majority are complaining about causing both Sony and Microsoft to respond offering refunds. With Sony blacklisting the game. In which the only group of people that seem to have very little problems are those with Nvidia gpus. Which clearly shows to me how the development of the game went.

I find it hilarious how this turned out. That the partnership between cdpr and nvidia was exposed and the backlash that followed. Making very few care about RT do to a broken game.
:D

Well I have completed CP2077 once and will be completing it again. Sure there are bugs and lots of them but didn't stop my enjoyment in the 70 hours I have played it but sure, you crack on with your bashing of NVidia :D

But you're again only posting things that fit with you anti-nvidia stance, thats just bias. Why are you even bringing up Sony/MS? This is for the PC version of game, hop over to the console thread about it.

Also the partnership between CDPR and Nvidia 'exposed'? That usually means something is being kept secret for it to be exposed but everyone knew at launch only Nvidia had RT and that CDPR had worked with Nvidia more closely than AMD, just like The Witcher?

I think this is where you want to be posting as this is what you keep falling back on about how awful the game is https://www.overclockers.co.uk/forums/threads/cyberpunk-2077.18829545/

Same, I finished it yesterday and did enjoy it a great deal despite the sometimes hilarious bugs and the lack of persistence of generic NPC's in the world.

Runs okay at Ultra (Psycho) RT settings, 1440p with Quality DLSS on my 3090. Certainly a demanding game to run at such settings though and these settings will unfortunately be well out of reach for most people. Then again, imo it's better to have some settings to aspire to be able to use in the future rather than settings you can't raise any further.

You have to grow some thicker skin. It is not a narrative that I am providing this information but how the gaming market has responded to what has happened. I simply agree with it.

As for the exposure...this game has been in development for 8 years now, started in 2012 I believe. There was no Nvidia card that offered Ray tracing back then. Therefore, the time and resources that was more recently added to the development cycle could have been put to better use actually fixing the bugs then implementing ray tracing. Which could have resulted in a better outcome of how the market would have received the game. This is a repeat of Batman Arkham Asylum in which steam offered a refund.
:D

I haven't completed it yet and taking it mega slow cos it would be a shame to play it through quickly and miss out on all the views and side missions etc... i do wish the game was longer though. RPG's should always be ridiculously long and immersive which this is and could be if they extend the story, maybe im hoping anyway they'll add DLC's in or free content that will extend the gameplay a lot more.

lol you say all this yet steam rating for this game is 78% mostly positive :D

Eh? It's not about thicker skin i'm simply pointing out your basically just posting in the wrong thread. But you do you pal, it just means when you have something legitimate and interesting to say people will only see your bias and probably not pay much attention. But hey, keep posting in the wrong thread.

ECH pretending to only be "the messenger". Bro, all your posts, are biased af. Not once did you report any negative AMD news. NOTHING. Nada.. All you do all day is bash NV. Honestly not sure if fanboy or shill tbh (or is it astroturfer?? not up to date with these things).

Just drop the act, as you can see, no one is falling for your BS :)

My end play time was like 94 hours and I'd done all the side material available to me -- but that only accounts for the yellow icons. I'm fairly sure the blue icons (your police/gang encounters) are like random battles and will spawn endlessly. Just to give you a rough idea on content... although maybe up to 10 hours of that was paused while eating or something.

So who is so saltly now? All the console fanboys ....ah that's a shame.

Going to load up the game as soon as i finish playing COD and Watchdogs that i got for free. Cheers Nvidia.

This is going to make the lockdown so much better.

Hows the AMD RT patch going? Any news or is it still a slideshow?

Runs fine on SX. I'm enjoying it so far.

It goes way beyond bias. Give it a few days and he'll probably drop in some talk about how nVidia was responsible for Cyberpunk running badly on AMD CPUs due to the "use" of an Intel optimised compiler even though that has been disproved now.

Really can't decide if I'm happy playing at the 85% resolution scaling required for my RX 5700 XT to get 55-75 fps at 3440x1440. That's mostly using Digital Foundry's recommended performance settings but with SSR off (I can't stand the graininess at low/med and high is way too much of a performance hit).

In some places I honestly struggle to notice a difference between 85% scaling with RIS and native, and in other areas it's distractingly blurry/pixelated. The environment when driving is especially bad, but dynamic resolution scaling is set to off.

I'm surprised this game runs smooth at Physco level with no DLSS at 1440p, was extremely surprised.

Still doesn't look anywhere near as good as the game running on my OLED at 4k Auto DLSS though.

Honestly it's like the OLED makes all monitors look dated and obsolete.
