Cyberpunk 2077 Ultra performance

amazing 2D car models used :D

That's because the GPU budget has already been used up thanks to RT and no VRS :p

My 3700X seems to severely bottleneck my 3080 to the point where my gpu usage drops as low as 60% in some places.
Playing at 4K with DLSS performance mode and ray tracing using digital foundry optimised settings.
Do you guys experience the same thing.?
My ram is Samsung b-die currently running at xmp profile without any additional tweaking which is 3600 cl16.

Yes, I've seen the same with my Ryzen 3600 and an RTX 3070. Sometimes I will see as low as 60ish GPU utilization.

I think after spending more than 50 hours in the game now 2D car models and their disappearing at some predefined distance really kills my enjoyment in the game. This and NPCs disappearing when you turn around. Just to much of this, everywhere you look

The 2D car models might explain why they handle like they are 2D!! :P

Can you label which ones are RT and which are non-RT? I seriously can't tell much difference.
I just took screenies and uploaded and one of them has no DLSS and one of them has no RT but yea, I understand your point but I am at work now and not sure which was which in truth. I do love the look of the game though and I have over 100 hours played now

The Ai is the main thing that puts me off buying this game. It's unforgivable for a game like this to have virtually no real Ai for npc's and police. The videos I've seen show it is an absolute disaster of a game when compared to the GTA series. If they fix all this then I might get it but for now I'll pass.

Thing is, this is not GTA man. Having cops chase you is not exactly essential. There is a lot more to the game than that. As a matter of fact a few times I triggered the cops by mistake in the middle of a mission it was annoying. A good implementation may add to the game, but it is not essential by any means.

People are missing out by comparing this game to GTA so much. Thats like me saying GTA does not have leveling up, no skill tree, no cool upgrades etc so I will not play it.

err.. it's supposed to be a AAA open world game right? If your interactions with npc's and cops is non-existent then what else do you do apart from kill a few bad guys here and there? The damn cars have no Ai and will just stop if you block them. The pedestrians have the most simplistic routine ever, i,e Just turn the opposite direction if blocked..WTF???
It's not a realistic, believable world at all.

Most reviews and videos I've seen do not show any positives compared to GTA games apart from graphics and that's subjective.

The world is very shallow and lacks interaction. So tons of crowds but all with the same voice lines and voice actors/actresses,most shops cannot be interacted with and most places are behind locked doors. The vehicles handle badly and both vehicle and NPC AI are mediocre IMHO. There are other open world games which do certain aspects of this better. The RPG aspects also are not as extensive as I expected - character creation wasn't as detailed as I thought it would be and also not as much impact from roll play decisions as I expected on later gameplay progession. Also it had a lot of bugs which would make Bethesda Game Studios proud! :p

The strengths of the game are more the art design because the different city areas feel distinctive, the story, especially the side missions which can have some very interesting things going on and the main characters who all their backstories. The main voice acting is also pretty solid. Its a fun game but it was way too overhyped.

It's not like they promised a good wanted system, the bad players are comparing two different game styles.

Cyberpunk is untouchable. You are not allowed compare it to anything. Also whatever you think is missing or lacking you will quickly be told it was never promised or supposed to be in this type of game.

You also get a response of "I played the game for X hours and encountered no bugs except for (insert bugs) but they were not game breaking I only had to reload a save (insert number of reloads) to progress the story".

This game will receive many updates and DLC. It's only going to get improved over time.
They had to rush it out due to whiny console gamers who couldn't handle some delays and investors hounding them who are now suing to get an even bigger piece of the pie.
When the dust settles it will turn out to be one of the stand out games of it's era much like GTA5 was back in 2013.

Easy there tiger. I don’t know what to say to you, I guess you will have to wait 6-12 months for them to fix those things. But for me I have played around 50 hours so far and been having a blast. There are tons of secondary missions to do with good stories I found which has kept me busy which is why I have not completed the game yet.

I have said before, the game does not live up to the hype for me and falls short of expectations based on what I have seen so far, but even in it’s current state it is a lot more fun than anything else (2020 game) I could be playing right now and I am really enjoying it.

In the end it is just a game, I can sit there give you a huge list as to why GTA5 is not a believable world also, but those things would not stop the game being fun.

Let's blame everyone else but not the real guilty ones. The devs had years to make an working game. And yet you blame the console players ( why didn't they released the game in the summer, there were whiny players back then too ). Or the investors who have been lied.
Why did they claimed the game works well on old consoles? It is that hard to tell players that the game doesn't run well on old gen consoles and that they either have to wait or buy next gen consoles? Or they wanted to make a lot of money selling a crappy version to console owners?

"CD Projekt joint-CEO Adam Kaciński has praised Cyberpunk 2077's performance on PS4 and Xbox One in an investor call.

Speaking earlier this week on Wednesday (and transcribed by Seeking Alpha), Kaciński said that Cyberpunk 2077's performance on the base PS4 and Xbox One consoles is "surprisingly good, I would say, for such a huge world." The CEO went on to say that although the performance on these base consoles is lower than their "pro" counterparts (the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X), it's still surprisingly good."

But yeah let's blame console players and the investors. :)

Well in balance I still can't play RDR2 without first disabling my RAM drive. Support are well aware of the issue and did inform me it would be passed on to the devs. That was about 4weeks after the Steam release. Why not bitch about that?

Why would I ***** about a problem you have?
Also what part of my post got you upset?

I'm sure there is an RDR2 thread you can find somewhere.

And then the last question is on the PS4. I think there was some press stuff saying that maybe it wasn't working quite as well as it could on PS4. Have we seen any gameplay on PS4? Maybe you could give us a bit of an update on how it performs on PS4. Thanks.
Adam Kiciński
And PS4, yesterday we released the gameplay both on PS4 and PS5. So, you can see the difference. And on both -- I mean, PS5 is great. PS4 is still very good. I mean, we had those extra three weeks and we achieved a lot by -- within this final stretch. So, we believe that the game is performing great on every platform. Of course, accordingly to platform capabilities, but not every platform should be great.

Hello. Thanks for taking my questions. My first question will be on Cyberpunk. As I read the hands-on reviews that were released recently, one of the most frequent comments was that the game was quite buggy, even though not critically, but still. Could you maybe provide some color how different is the current version, I would say, from what you provided, you said you hit viewers, how many are those bugs have been fixed because you were pretty aware of those bugs as far as I understood from the preview.
And the second question maybe you could give us some color on Monster Slayer. What is the current status? What's going on, when the release is planned for that? Thank you.
Adam Kiciński
So, in terms of bugs, we are all aware of them. Of course, such a big gang can't be just bug free. That's the kind of obvious, but we believe that the level will be as low as to let gamers not see them. And fortunately, some bugs extended previous were caused by some general -- I would say general features and many of them are already fixed. So, what gamers will get will be different from what -- and what we viewers will get in this final review is it's better than what previewers, got." :D
