Its really just an extension of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand...if , somehow, a player had no idea who Keanu Reeves was, Johnny Silverhand would just be another NPC to them, but he's there for people to go oooh its keanu reeves ! , the use of the big streamers as NPCs is the same thing, just on a more specific scale, its an easter egg for people who know to go ooh its so and so !

Bit like that "famous" baseball player who is an npc in Assassins Creed Valhalla, I have no idea who he is, but if I followed baseball I would probably have recognised him

Apparently certain US stores have already shipped the collectors edition for delivery tomorrow. Be aware of leaks and spoilers, although CPDR has specifically said they will take down all they can prior to release.

Getting the physical edition doesn't mean you'll be able to play the game before anyone else though....

I don't know how it works but since CDPR has had to release an official statement about people getting it early there seems to be some way.

When someone gets to play it on keyboard and mouse let me know if it is free of and/or has options to control mouse acceleration and X/Y sens/multis as nothing puts me off a game faster than a poor, unfixable, input implementation especially if physical circular motions with the mouse produce an oval shape ingame (as in GTA 5).

Amazingly I've seen people using the fact that CDPR won't allow pre-launch streaming or content in general as further "proof" that they're awful and the game sucks

Hopefully they don't because I specifically took time off to play it without having to work in between
 
So the next few weeks are going to be spoiler alert central pretty much everywhere.

Not sure if I should just stay away from this thread and youtube comments sections next week or with the release of the physical copies just do it from now.
 
I was charged for my pre-order today and the company i pre-ordered with don't usually charge until stock has arrived ready for dispatch, shame even if it does get here early i can't play it till the 10th :D
