Not sure if I should just stay away from this thread and youtube comments sections next week or with the release of the physical copies just do it from now.

Wondering this also. There is always one plonka that posts some spoiler no matter how small.

Same here... do appreciate all the willing QA testers hopping in now though and gives a nice chance to find out what the compromises and disappointments are after the hype has died down and people start being a bit more honest about it

Be warned though you won't be able to be one of the cool kids without this consumer product

It's not a "battle" at all, and you're right that people wanting to avoid spoilers will be quiet in a thread that is sure to be full of them - but don't let that stop you using it as affirmation that the game is perfect in every way

Not preaching, but I do know its been in development for almost 10 years and comes from a company with a good rep so for the sake of £50 if you have the slightest of interest in the game and choose to wait 2 years then the joke is on you. Lifes short bros. Ultimately do what you want but I personally like to take the opportunity when it arises

£50 is quite a steep price to be a software tester, they generally pay you instead

Were you not around for Witcher 3's launch? By the same studio you are talking about? Which was also in development for a long time, and yet launched in a very broken state

Obviously some rational people are always going to get lumped in with the crazy hype-beasts when we start generalising. I'm very much in the camp of liking the genre and having my eye on the game as well, just find the zealotry around it amusing
