*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

The UI must be one of the worst I've seen in a while.

Logic is also pretty thin. While V and Jacky are doing jobs for half a year and only a few hundred eddies in the bank, just after a few small jobs helping the police and eliminating some guys (extra activities on the map), I've jumped 10k and also got some equipment... Same deal from The Witcher it appears...

Suspension of disbelief going down the drain... :(

Sometimes you need to let go, it is just a game after all. Just make up some reason in your head as to why that may be the case and move on. I try and not think to much otherwise one would find holes in every piece of entertainment which would spoil everything. Of course there are times where things get a little too stupid, but I guess we all have different tolerances.

Wahey, my copy from Amazon arrived earlier than the 11pm they suggested :p

Impressed by the GOG servers - currently maxing out my connection at 45MB/s, pretty sure Steam always goes down/slows to a crawl on a big release like this!

Mine hasn't come from shop to yet

Just downloading now, used the GoG RU VPN version which worked well. I did try to start it last night but their servers were so hammered that the 2FA email didn't arrive for ages after I went to bed! I set off for work in 30 minutes so won't be playing until tomorrow which is excruciating!!!

I've only been in the game 5 mins as a Corp and a little disappointed at how clunky the movement is in first person. You can't walk or match the speed of others in your environment and just doesn't feel as graceful as it should be. Feels quite similar to GTA V first person mode tbh

Double nice!

I'll probably just spend some time tweaking settings until I can hit 60FPS, then get proper stuck in tomorrow evening (after go-Karting with my staff )

yeah i believe its a bit of a Hog to run at 60. it'll be a bit of a kick in the old nads if ive just spent £600 on a card, and i have to turn down settings at 1440p

Well I'm a bit gutted HDR can't be enabled. I was playing Doom Eternal again in the run up to midnight and on my OLED 48CX that looks so rich and vibrant. Then fire this up and what should be a visual feast looks a little flat because no HDR. Games run well, between 50-70fps RT high, DLSS balanced at 4k. Hope they release a HDR patch soon.
