*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

The game looks amazing but seems to be bug ridden at the moment. I have waited 8 years for it so I think I can wait another 6 months to get the best possible experience. Plus hopefully by that time AMD will have their DLSS equivalent out so my 6800 will hopefully run it at a decent framerate.

I don't know how I feel about the graphics being so demanding. It seems even the 3090, a £1500 GPU struggles to maintain 4K 60FPS without using DLSS. I don't know how much replayability this game has so I really don't want to ruin the experience for myself by having sub standard performance. People talk about how they want games to be future proof so they can go back to it with more powerful hardware but honestly, how many of you went back and played Crysis for example?

Anyone playing this on a more modest system?

I have a Vega 64 and 5820K and i'm little disappointed that on medium settings i'm only get around 40fps at 1440p.

i had to LOL at this review, the character creation part was so bad for this person that they refused to continue to play the game :rolleyes:, what the hell!? I mean seriously?? I mean even if you couldn't create the character you wanted you could just click next and go into the game with the default character.
To be fair the UI and button mapping in this game is appalling. I can easily imagine that it will put a lot of people off quite early in the gameplay.

played it for around 3 hours it runs pretty decent but had to use AMD FidelityFX CAS at 80% to stay around 55-75fps at 1440p ultra does drop to around 45fps on the very built up areas this is on i7 6700k with 5700xt nitro+ will look out for some guides how increase fps without noticeable drop in quality

I have yet to see any graphical bugs using a 2080 TI on an old driver. Plays great with DLSS enabled (performance mode)

Yep 5930K, Titan Xp, 32GB RAM, NVME which was beastly 3 years ago

Runs like crap at first glance early this morning so some major sacrifices to make

Well I'm a bit gutted HDR can't be enabled. I was playing Doom Eternal again in the run up to midnight and on my OLED 48CX that looks so rich and vibrant. Then fire this up and what should be a visual feast looks a little flat because no HDR. Games run well, between 50-70fps RT high, DLSS balanced at 4k. Hope they release a HDR patch soon.
 HDR is working fine

This is the HDR settings Screen

You and me both!

My GPU is vega 56 with latest drivers for what it's worth.

Other games HDR is perfectly fine.

So, CDPR are aren't the be all end all of PC devs that everyone constantly fap over. I'd hate to think how bad this game was 6 months ago when they were thinking of releasing. Looks like they should have had another 6 months reading about all the bugs. So much for the very mediocre pc specs that were posted months ago as recommended specs to get a good experience when running this.

Played through crysis about 6-7 times through different upgrade paths.
