*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

First hour or two, I was very underwhelmed. Combat felt awful and it just felt a bit short of expectations in terms of the world and feel.

But it’s growing on me, the more I play the more I find things that impress me

A lot of very amusing bugs.

Graphics are way below what I expected though. 4K on Ultra settings with DLSS on Quality, I get about 45-50FPS with the 3090. But it doesn’t look like a game that should be taxing it that much.
There’s some very impressive views, but the general look of characters and the scenery, it just isn’t the blow my mind graphics I was expecting. It doesn’t help that some textures just stand out like a sore thumb as they are such poor quality compared to the majority

So it's not just the tutorial dialogue screens that are 16:9 on a 21:8 display meaning info boxes are chopped off, it's every dialogue box even on the inventory/perk-up screens!

I've settled for Ultra Quality DLSS set to Ultra performance with a 2080ti

3440x1440 I'm getting 50-80fps

I had RT set on before but the more I played the harder it was to put up with around 40fps even with GSync, I am dissapointed though as really wanted the ray traced goodness

Played a solid few hours, it is an incredible game never played something as immersive!

Also there is so much going on in the game world is anyone finding it hard to keep up with the story lol I reckon I'd need another playthrough

The ambient noise as you walk through the city at night is astonishing

10 hours in and it runs amazingly well, I'm yet to have a single crash and the only two bugs I've encountered were floating chopsticks and 3 kids using the same animation at the same time. Very Hard is nails though.

Yep, I uninstalled Logitech Options.
9 hours in for me and occasional bugs but nothing that I find annoying or game breaking and no crashes at all. About time I found a game I am happy to lose some serious time on and I will :)

As a few others have said it's taking me a little to get into it, I am enjoying it more than the first 20 mins. I'm a couple of hours in more. Had an initial major glitch, no NPC dialogue or ambient music. Turns out it relates to my VR headset. Unplugged that and it's fine.

Running on a 3060ti at 1440p everything on Ulta with RT enabled, get between 45-60 FPS 90% of the time. Dropped down to 30 ish on a major battle scene. Can't say the graphics are amazing, the colours/lighting are great but the fine details haven't blown me away. It feels quite 'closed in' for an open world RPG. Still finding my feet though, and trying to remember all the buttons. Think it's my age

I think I'm going to leave this game and come back to it when it has had an update or two. The best I can say about it right now is that it has a lot of potential. Had I paid £50 for this I would be requesting a refund.
Perhaps it is my settings or my install but I'm not getting the graphical wow that others are describing. I'm also seeing a lot of interaction issues and just general rough edges and incompleteness and that's enough to spoil my enjoyment.
So I'll give it a while and come back to it.

Stick with it guys, as it starts getting very very good when you go into a very posh hotel (no spoilers from me).
The Witcher 3 was the same it took a good couple of hours to get into but IMO one of the best games out there
I’m enjoying Cyberpunk so far but only put in about an hour so far, intend to have a good run tonight and over the weekend

Absolutely buzzing to play later, roll on bed time for the kids :D

I skipped through the character creation on release to get a quick 45 minutes in before going to bed. Deleted saves so will start fresh and mess around with graphics settings ect tonight.

Seeing the same here :(

This looks like a gorgeous game.

I've got a Radeon R9-200 and a i5-2500k with 16Gb RAM. Is this just too old and slow?

The rig is nearly 10 years old (I did upgrade the card once, though) so I'm due an upgrade, but the prices for the GPUs I see out there are mind boggling!

It does seem to depend on the area. For example in the city some areas outdoors or indoors look a bit bland/detail-lacking whereas out in the badlands everything is rich with grit and detail. Shadows and light being handled by RTX makes the biggest visual difference I think but also the biggest performance impact. I am now using balanced DLSS as noticed distant light sources tend to shimmer a lot more often with anything above balanced. This has dropped my frames a bit but it's still playable so I will manage.

It is an experience in the kind of graphics hardware needed though have to say.

I watched Skill Up's review. I'd recommend it, it's very in-depth. He's one of the best reviewers around imo.

I agree - and it's after watching that review that I'm considering either refunding or waiting a bit to start. I'm in no rush and have other stuff to complete atm - plus I'm getting well into Deep Rock Galactic!

All good so far. I’m running a 2080S with a 2600 and at 4K I’m getting 60-70fps on average with small dips to about 56, more of a hiccup, all is maxed.

with RT on I get about half that. I’ve found though having RT on, not much of a difference in terms of graphical fidelity, obviously reflections are improved but it’s such a small difference that it’s not worth the hit in frames.

Only bugs so far are distant trees clipping through walls and buildings every now and then.

Oh! From a quick glance I think your card's a bit better than mine.

Very impressed so far. One crash within 5 mins but been rock solid for the last couple of hours. I'm on an i5-4690k, 16GB ram, GTX 1660 Super and I'm playing on mostly high settings at 1440p but with none of the fancy stuff on. Running at about 40fps which feels OK.

So far the first couple of hours have given me "wow" moments that only really compare with the feeling I got playing Half-Life 1/2, Bioshock's opening glide through to Rapture and arriving in Novigrad in Witcher 3. Proper grinning from ear to ear and marvelling at it all. Love it.

Try switching on just the basic ray tracing and switch the other two off, still looks amazing but I found it gave me aprox 15-20 fps more, with DLSS on quality. Also just set everything to high and got rid of Chromatic, film grain and blur. Might just use this as a test and after a few updates start again, but enjoying it a lot
