*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Is RT on really that small a difference then? I will have to play for an hour with it off and see what's what then because if that's the case then sod it, RTX can stay off.

So apparently the police are useless.

People start shooting at me whilst I'm stood next to cops. Nothing.

I shoot back, warrant out for my arrest.

Probably the most immersion breaking experience so far.

Is it just me or a bug? Can't be by design!

On this game I don’t find it a big difference at all. If I was getting 60FPS at 4K I’d leave it for some extra reflection detail but I’m personally finding RT on CP a bit pointless considering the performance hit.

Oh I dunno, seems pretty reaistic to me.

Biggest problem with the game is the AA or TAA which seems to be on by default and there is no control, TAA gives everything a blurry look there are some reshade mods might have to look at which might help plus a bug where menus don't come off the screen like after viewing a weapon ground but not picking it up

Were they ripping down statues and looting? If so, your fault :D

What’s the dlss sweet spot for a 3080 at 1440p. Struggling to understand the setting. GeForce experience recommends everything ultra with this set to balanced.

The game looks amazing but seems to be bug ridden at the moment. I have waited 8 years for it so I think I can wait another 6 months to get the best possible experience. Plus hopefully by that time AMD will have their DLSS equivalent out so my 6800 will hopefully run it at a decent framerate.

I don't know how I feel about the graphics being so demanding. It seems even the 3090, a £1500 GPU struggles to maintain 4K 60FPS without using DLSS. I don't know how much replayability this game has so I really don't want to ruin the experience for myself by having sub standard performance. People talk about how they want games to be future proof so they can go back to it with more powerful hardware but honestly, how many of you went back and played Crysis for example?

I was hoping it will only take 2 or 3 months. All games are buggy on launch and this game is so complex, the bugs were inevitable.

Customise your character to an old, white lady. That should resolve it.

What difficulty is everyone playing this at? I'm playing on hard but it's quite hard, can it be lowered or do I need to start a new game?

I started on normal but its to easy, I think meele is overpowered maybe seems to kill everything quick but only a few hours in and going to restart tomorrow

So it's not just the tutorial dialogue screens that are 16:9 on a 21:8 display meaning info boxes are chopped off, it's every dialogue box even on the inventory/perk-up screens!
I only had one screen out of all the various ones that popped up do that to me during the tutorial. I had to stop before going any further, my version of this game has been a mess.

What boggles my mind is the amount of positive reviews while my own experience has been poor.

This happens all the time. a lot of sites are simply biased and almost too afraid to **** the devs off. I love CDPR but this game seems to be a mess, needed another delay imo.

This is a pretty overwhelming game, I've played for a few hours but I'm not sure I've enjoyed it that much so far... It seems quite hard to get into, and I can't explain why.
